Really happy to find a reliable carpenter having just moved to the area. Communication, workmanship and value for money were all excellent-highly recommended.

Put simply and briefly; if you want a first class joinery job at a fair price then save yourself time and energy and look no further than Carl Hughes. He has made a custom 'narrow'/mini door and door frame for my wife and I and it has been complimented on by friends and visitors. Its nice to see that old fashioned craftsmanship is still alive and well .

Carl supplied and fitted new doors for us in our newly purchased house. As a first time home owner it can be a nerve wracking experience to find a good and reliable workman. Carl exceeded our expectations and did an amazing job on our doors. We are made up with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to use Carl again and recommend him to anybody looking for a reliable joiner.

We had Carl design and fit some wardrobes for our bedroom. He was delayed in starting the job due to the weather putting back earlier jobs, but that actually worked in our favour as we were having other work done on the house at the time he was originally planning on starting. However, it has truly been worth the wait. Carl is professional, considerate, meticulously tidy, turns up when he says he will - and best of all will advise on the best solution that suits the job to actually save you money. I can’t fault him or his workmanship and we will definitely be having Carl back to do the rest of the bedrooms and an office space.

I cannot speak highly enough of Carl. He has laid laminate floors and installed built in furniture in all our rooms and we are delighted with the quality of work. His craftsmanship is superb, very good value for money and he has been a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely can recommend. Not just a true perfectionist at his trade but keeps you at all times advised of time frames of what to expect. The result from fitting two wardrobes was above my expectation. Thank you Carl, excellent job, so pleased you made the job so clean free and easy for me.
