Always a lovely place to visit. The lady in the cafe went above and beyond to help my son. A warm friendly welcome. We will definitely visit again. The boating lake and surrounding area make for a great day out. There is also a play area nearby.

Only had coffee and cake but it was very nice. Overlooking boating pool and 2 mins away from the river so perfect for refreshment after a stroll

Visited on a rainy day and had to sit on the decking but still a pleasant stop over. Breakfast was very nice.

After a pleasant walk along the river Deben we decided to stop at this cafe for a coffee and lunchtime snack. There are a number of tables outside on the terrace but as it was quite cold we decided to sit inside. There is quite a good selection of snacks and drinks on the menu to satisfy most tastes. We choose a tuna and cheese sandwich, sausage and bacon roll and coffee. These were freshly prepared and nicely presented and both were tasty and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring our needs had been satisfied. This was not our first visit and definitely will not be our last.

We stopped here for a quick drink and snack on our way past the docks. Great location, a little music festival was on and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately we were served what can only be described as the worst chips on planet earth.Soggy, under cooked and £4 a bowl.Such a lovely location, it really deserves better. Good chips are not hard to do.

Absolutely wonderful cafe with veranda parasols. Close by river an boating pond. Quick service by friendly staff an reasonably priced. Lovely stop whilst enjoying river views

What a little gem of a place. Stopped for a coffee after a walk along the river with our dog. Friendly staff, good cake. Nice and chilled watching the model yachts racing in the pond.

A great location for a tea hut / cafe that was really popular for people grabbing drinks, cake and food. We were disappointed by the breakfast sandwiches as the filling was lacking, the bacon sandwiches really need an extra rasher as you feel shortchanged. We probably wouldn’t come back for food, but would just for a coffee.

Quite a limited menu (without baked potatoes today) but it is totally sufficient and all 3 plates for us were beautiful cooked. All good, tea, juice and milkshake plus hot food. Good atmosphere with dog owners in abundance with no barking I’m pleased to say. Heavy rain outside with some big puddles today.
