These guys done a good job considering it's an old house with twisted rafters. Some problems arose but got delt with swiftly. The dry verge, capping, leadwork and tiles look good.Will get them back to do the chimney stack next year.

Steven, came to give a quote which on the first day of work jacked up the price after ripping half the roof off!Removed and took all the lead flashing and replaced with plastic. In fact the quote for replacement lead and slate was 'bait and switched' to concrete tiles and plastic flashing.The rotten fascia boards were supposed to be replaced with UPVC fascia boards but instead he wanted to cover and cap the rotten wood instead. The garden was full of waste, cider cans, food wrappers as well as actual roofing waste ALL of which should have been cleaned up daily.Having paid 80% of the jacked up quote I had no choice to give notice by 'making time of the essence' on the agreement which I subsequently had to enforce.But reluctantly did so when I moved his tools of my property.Despite the shoddy and unreliable work which I have over paid for. Steven is threatening to take me to court to have the entire roof removed as he believes that unless the entire amount has been paid, then he owns everything.My advice is to avoid them unless you love drama, abuse and threats.

Came to look at our roof just before lockdown in March. Told us we couldn’t do a temp fix as roof was dangerous. Our insurer said to proceed. Given quote by Keyline which was high but accepted given the COVID circumstances. Standard of work was good quality but towards the end of the job the quote was elevated for no reason. Felt we had no option but to pay with job unfinished. Our insurer settled for 43% of fee paid. We were told by insurer & Industry experts that cost was excessive. We feel that Keyline took advantage of COVID & we had no option at the time to get alternative quotes. Keyline failed to give an explanation of the excessive fees despite us asking Steven 4 times which is unacceptable. Any reasonable person would at least expect that. If you decide to use Keyline make sure you get a written quote before the work is started and ensure that Keyline make you aware of any sudden changes in quotes in writing with a full explanation as to why the quote has changed.

We asked Steven to quote us on a new roof whilst he was replacing our neighbours. He was repairing our chimneys and noticed our roof felt was rotten. He sent us a quote online. We accepted the quote and he said that he didn’t want any money until we were happy with the outcome. The lads worked hard, a bit messy at times, but they cleaned up on completion. Stephen answered any questions we had, promptly by phone or text. I’m no roofing expert admittedly, but the roof looks good and he sent us many videos during and after. We have a ten year guarantee, so if we have any problems he said just to get in touch. If I do need to contact him in the future I will update this review good or bad but hopefully I won’t need to.
