I had an old jacket with a worn out and ugly lining and a single inside pocket that was too small to fit my hand in. I took it here along with some fabric and asked if they could put two bigger inside pockets along with changing the lining.What I got back was better than expected! Kate is very friendly and talks through what she can do and any issues she might have with the alteration.As you can see from the photo the jacket looks great. Thank you so much!

We had a dress and trousers needing shortening but needed them on a quick turaround, we called in first thing and for only £5 extra, we're ready to collect the same day I've used Kate's Tailors a number of times and they've always done a good job andfor a reasonable price

Absolutely brilliant. Bought a dress for a wedding ( in a weeks time )and caught an embroidered cotton. Took it to Kate and was sorted same day. Thank you so much xx

I called in to Kate's Tailor shop on Friday 22nd Sept., with a pair of floaty trousers that belonged to a suit that I wanted to wear on Sunday 24th. to a milestone family gathering. I had tried them on at home but they were very much too long - because I can no longer wear the high heels which I wore when I first got the suit. So I was in a panic and didn't have the confidence to shorten them myself.Despite being very busy, Kate accepted them and even said if she had to she'd work over to get them done! I needed to collect them on Saturday morning. Which I did. I didn't try them on again as we were driving South on Saturday to the event. However they were absolutely perfect, and I'm very grateful to Kate for her kindness (and her very reasonable prices.) Any other alterations I may need doing in future to other garments I shall definitely take to Kate. She's a star!!
