AVOID!I rented a property through Alexander Greens and can say they are the worst agent I have ever dealt with.When I moved into the property there was a serious leak from the roof that I was told would be resolved promptly.Until it was repaired I was asked to pay a reduced rent but after 18 months without any improvements despite my continuous efforts to assist in resolving the issue, I was given two rent increases in short succession.I paid this but disputed it as the leak was still ongoing. I was then served a section 21 no fault eviction due to my complaint and asked to leave the property on New Year’s Day.My deposit was then withheld under false claims that I hadn’t paid my rent as agreed and it took me disputing the deposit with mydeposits and months of waiting before I received my deposit back in full.Fortunately I have worked for 3 letting agencies in the past so was able to identify that Alexander Greens had uploaded false evidence in their deposit claim and the evidence I provided was thorough enough to ensure I was awarded the deposit.I am very happy that I received my deposit back and it shows cowboys like AG can’t get away with such shocking property management.The staff are rude, aggressive and frankly so incompetent that it borders on the comical.The property was also filthy when I moved in and the landlady hassled me continuously with calls and texts saying that she couldn’t pay her bills.Presumably why I received rent increases without resolving the agent and landlady’s legal obligations as per the tenancy agreement.Do yourselves a favour and use a different agent and save the hassle you will definitely experience renting through Alexander Greens.

I've been a tenant with Alexander Greens for 6 months now, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The staff is kind, patient, and always quick to answer my emails. In particular, Lewis Flisher went above and beyond to help me find my ideal place to live, showing me several properties until I found the perfect one. As someone who's pretty strict about cleanliness and modern amenities, I really appreciated their attention to detail. The cleaning service every 2 weeks (if included) is very good and professional.Having considered several other agencies in Cambridge before settling on Alexander Greens, I can attest that their level of professionalism and commitment to service surpasses that of their peers. I intend to continue my tenancy with Alexander Greens for another year and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy letting agency.

The ALEXANDER GREENS exceeded my expectations in finding a room for me. They were attentive to my preferences and worked diligently to find the perfect fit. The communication was excellent, and I was always kept informed about potential options. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for accommodation.

They give you privacy for the majority of the time. They should be more available and quick to react when something needs fixing (it depends on landlords as well). Agencies are not always to blame and I did not have a bad time with Alexander Greens.

I had a great experience with the Property Agency! They were very helpful throughout the whole process of renting a room. The staff was friendly and professional, and they made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I highly recommend them for their excellent service!A+++

I would like to express my gratitude to Alexander Greens Co. Lewis for the excellent service they provided in helping me to rent a room in Cambridge. I had a great experience with Lewis, who was very accommodating and responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this company for their professional and efficient service.I received my deposit refund within few days of the end of the tenancy and Lewis did kindly chase this.

AVOID!! The staff are extremely rude, abrasive and aggressive. I had the most negative experience with Jonathan (the manager) and Lewis (employee). Do not recommend.

Known for miss management of properties; bullying existing tenants in situ to enable less reputable individuals to occupy HMOs and then demand monies from all rather than address directly with those responsible.They have no core values to protect the properties they allegedly manage or respect for tenants. There is next to no professionalism in their behaviours when it comes to addressing tenants concerns. DO NOT USE!

I had dealings with Alexander Greens b/w August 2020 till January 2023 whereby I found them very proactive, professional, client centred and generally considerate. They also helped me with a few structural problems occurring at the property I was a tenant at and assisted me patiently during the landlord's building insurance claim process due to an untoward incident. I would highly recommend Alexander Greens for matters of property lettings based on my personal experience :)

update Date 06/10/2023 : The original agent then called me 2 hours later asking me to remove my 1-star review. He claimed the call had cut off, despite me reaching someone else right away. Pressuring clients to alter reviews to resolve problems raises ethical red flags.Most concerning was receiving a voicemail today from an Alexander Greens staff member stating I was refused viewings solely due to my negative review. If true, this reflects very poorly on their conduct and customer service standards. Threatening clients over reviews seems drastic and inappropriate.Overall, I cannot recommend doing business with Alexander Greens Property Services based on my experience. Their lack of transparency, misleading excuses, and unprofessional conduct shows a disregard for client needs. I urge others seeking rental properties or home viewings to consider more reputable agencies that value their customers.Date : 05/10/2023 : I recently tried to contact Alexander Greens Property Services to schedule a viewing for a property I was interested in. When I called, the agent I spoke with informed me that all viewing slots were booked up already. However, they failed to specify if this was just for viewings this week or next week as well.When I tried to ask some follow up questions to get more clarity on when I could potentially schedule a visit, the agent abruptly hung up on me. I was very disappointed with the poor customer service I received. The agent made no effort to be helpful or accommodate my inquiry in any way. Just 10 minutes later, I called back and reached a different agent - highly questionable if it was truly a phone issue.Based on this negative experience, I would not recommend usingAlexander Greens Property Services. The staff seems very unprofessional and unwilling to assist potential customers. Being hung up on when simply trying to get more information about setting up a property viewing is completely unacceptable. I suggest looking into other more customer-service oriented real estate agencies in the area if you want an agent who will take the time to address your needs and questions.
