Myself and family would have no hesitation in recommending Alexander Burn. From beginning to end Will and his staff have been very professional, sympathetic and caring during this sad time. It all went very smoothly and we had so many people come up to us when we left the chapel saying what a lovely service. We had a lot of help and advice from Will which made the day more bearable for us.

From the moment Will answered the telephone I knew that we would be well cared for by everyone at Alexander Burn. Our situation was different as I am a Funeral Celebrant, and delivered the service, but Will took this in his stride and worked with me to ensure that every aspect of the service was exactly as my Father-in-Law had planned it to be. They even wheeled in the coffin (my Father-in-Law didn't want to be jigged around on people's shoulders)! I cannot recommend Will, Sam and everyone at Alexander Burn, highly enough. The care they gave to us all as a family was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made the whole process so much easier to bear.

Alexander Burn dealt with both my fathers funeral and recently my mothers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are so caring, professional and kind. They kept me informed of all processes and were always happy to respond to any queries. Special thanks to Will, who directed the service so smoothly and calmly, he is a star! I cannot thank the Bishops Cleeve office enough, for their care and professionalism shown to our family when we lost our mum recently.From the very first initial call, the staff were caring and attentive, making the process as easy as possible under very difficult circumstances.Our very sincere thanks go to Will Bell, who organised the church service and interment at the cemetery, going above and beyond to tailor everything to suit our wishes throughout. He made several calls to check on specific details and provided the music as requested for the church and also at the cemetery. This added a very personal touch for which we cannot thank him enough.I would not hesitate to recommend Alexander Burn Limited, Bishops Cleeve. They are excellent.

Will, Ewan and all of the rest of the team at Alexander Burn are absolutely brilliant. They are professional, respectful, caring and kind. With much help guidance and support, my husband and I have been able to choose services that have reflected our loved ones wishes. Each one has been different. My mum chose this company to do my grandfather's funeral. I was so upset after the funeral as my father had only just died the year before. I'd had lost 2 of the most important men in my life. I just wanted to take my time leaving. To compose myself before I faced anyone else. My 2 yr old daughter was splashing in puddles on the side of the very very big, open car park, with loads of spaces free. The crematorium staff walked passed, smiled at my daughter and told us to take our time and how lovely it was to see my daughters joy. No one was near us, we weren't disturbing anyone. I was literally in my own world, shell shocked and numb. It was only 10 mins after the funeral had finished.We were then approached by a very rude and aggressive middle aged man who identified himself as a funeral director (I believe of a different funeral directors, though I cannot be sure, I never met the Alexander agency staff in person, they only spoke with my mother). He was flanked by 2 tall young men, who told us to leave and that we were inappropriate to stand in a car park. Honestly that was the issue!! The young men behind him were stood smirking and literally laughing at me, whilst this man told me off! Having an aggressive and extremely patronising confrontation by 3 intimidating taller men who were literally laughing, whilst you're at a funeral, as a women, feeling vulnerable and overwhelmed due to complete grief, was honestly horrific. I cried the entire day. I work in a professional job and I felt so off my guard, I didn't know how to handle it. To this day I have no idea how someone can be so offensive over someone standing in a car park! It is unbelievable really. Just a chance to bully.We complained about this experience to this company who said they would investigate. I at least wanted to confirm who they worked for so I could complain. Nothing happened. So I guess they are protecting them. Very expensive company as well. Will not use again.

The compassion and empathy showed to me and my family in arranging the funeral of my late husband Robin Hunt was outstanding, the whole team at Alexander Burn carried out the service for us with dignity, respect and understanding nothing was too much trouble, special thanks to Ewan and will.

Janet, William and the whole team at Alexander Burn were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and their advice was most welcome and sensible. From the moment Mum passed way they have been very kind, professional and respectful. Thanks to them, my sister and I were able to give our Mum the loveliest of send offs and all the guests also said it was beautiful. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
