Pets at Home Holyhead

Still relatively new and the standards seem to be being kept high. Animals in store are clean and healthy. Fish tanks look well maintained. Lots of choice for buying things for your furry friends.

Great store. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I regularly shop for items for my pets here.

Very disappointed in my first visit here, they really messed up my dog's hair. Admittedly, they tidi him up a week later, but he's very old and I just wasn't happy it occurred over (possibly but hopefully not) and one of his last Christmases...They blamed his age, but the Groom Room in Widnes have no problems...

Am always helped with what i need or im after great store friendly staff cant say fairer than that or anything else apart from thanks for welcoming me everytime

Customer service is load of rubbish no one gets back to you, I have been waiting nearly a month and still no one has contacted me, after several emails has been sent, do not buy fish from Holyhead store, the staff there has no idea how to maintain the fishes, all infected with some kind of parasite, I had a massive parasite after spotting day later after buying the fish, and it was burrowing into at it kidneys, it then had dropsy and it's dying slowly, after spending £65, sort your customers service and Holyhead store.If i can rate this store with no star i would, the problem them you will get from the staff is they cannot handle the full truth, also if you leave them a negative review, they either ban you, or not sell you anything, this is a problem get from them, well this does not bother me as i prefer to buy premium quality fish else where, that you cannot get premium quality fish from this type of store, all you get is the runt of the stock, i have many photos taken from you tanks of dead fish, and its getting all plastered all over your facebook page so on, and i have tested your water, your ammonia and nitrates are way too high, using the API test stick does not give you the correct readings, no wonder your fishes are dying, my review will not change unless the ginger nut 4 eye git ,and the blond bimbo changes there attitude, god help you when i come accross you both outside your working hours, i will not be nice.

It was great, fantastic helpful friendly staff, of course dog friendly but now sadly closed, hence one star. It was nice to be able to go into a pet friendly shop where you could check sizes of harnesses or coats and get advice from staff who had knowledge of the products being sold.

Great little place" Staff are always around to help in any which way they can.I visited here as soon as I arrived in Anglesey only to meet a very good friend whom I had not met for many years

So Very sad this shop is closing down. I have just moved into the area and it is a long way to go to Bangor one. And the staff areFantastic in the Holthead shop.
