Burnville Farm

Beautiful place to stay. Hosts were so welcoming, accommodation and room was stellar and king size bed to boot. Will happily make a return here.

If possible I would give this B&B a six star rating. Not only is this place absolutely stunning and exceptional, giving you the perfect Rosamunde Pilcher feeling (for those who know that). Not only is the breakfast really delicious. Not only is the whole atmosphere so peaceful and quiet. But on top of that you will be greeted by super friendly, warm and down to earth hosts, making you feel welcome in a second. I would love to come back.

Massive well equipped extremely comfortable bedroom and large en-suite with walk in shower and bath. Very warm welcome with tea and fresh home baked brownies and biscuits! Thank you.

The Victoria and Tim are so welcoming, the accommodation is luxurious but homely and the food is exceptional! I have loved my stay. I have been to Devon many times but have never had such fantastic accommodation and hospitality. Excellent!!

A great place to switch off, here you will find absolute silence. Our hosts are very nice.

Beautiful cosy Bed and breakfast with a great view. Victoria and her husband were lovely hosts and made us the most delicious breakfast every morning. If you want to feel like in a Rosamunde Pilcher movie, I recommend to stay at Burnville Farm. Ideal spot to discover the dartmoor and some very good restaurants that Victoria recommended. I wish I could have stayed longer :)

Stayed here for a week with friends and 3 dogs.Lovely old farmhouse with plenty of room.Kitchen has everything you could need.Not many cleaning items so you will need your own and the hoover isn't great but does the job.Lovely surroundings in a stunning part of the country.

A lovely host, a wonderful house and very good food.

Fantastic property to stay in everything we need is here and Victoria even baked home made cookies truly scrumptious. If you are looking for a quality get away on Dartmoor and this property is available then book it , you will not be disappointed.

Late reply for Burnville Farm stay during August 2019 .. Recommend to try Burnville seeing their stunning pictures of the landscape and their place on their main webpage .. Was very welcomed when arrived by the owner Victoria, with warm tea and her home made cookies .. The room for our four day stay had a luxurious big double bed and was very cosy to sta indoors (during the heavy rainy weather for couple of nights) .. She and her other half gave not only wonderful home made breakfasts every morning.. but advised us places to do and travel during our stays .. We did most of these and enjoyed every minute out of the farm (recommend close by the Lydford village and Gorge Waterfall Park), including visits to Tavistock, Plymouth and Exeter ... The sceneries at the farm were big, green, and spectacular to look at through the bedroom window everyday. Should have tried to stay few more nights, but was a brilliant experience and bringing back childhood memories travelling to Devon for the summer holidays. Thank you burnville staff, and as well Victoria more than anything during our stay (plus thank you for the white chocolate cookie recipe, my partner cannot get enough of them asking each day over!).
