The worst vet service ever, totally ripped me off avoid at all costs!!! Such a shame used to be a kind, caring vets which I have used for years but the new team are appalling. Communication with the vet was very difficult due to her strong eastern European accent which is very difficult to understand. My son went on my behalf due to Covid 19, as I'm high risk and limiting my contacts, which was explained when booking the appointment. £137 pounds ligther and still no idea what is wrong with my dog. Given flea treatment costing £50!! Which wasn't needed as the vet said no fleas were seen. Phoned to complain and was told I should've brought the dog myself or not send him!! Hmm wonder what the RSPCA would think of that advice. Told to come back 3 months later if no improvement!! Please think twice before using this vets. If I could've I would have given a minus rating.

Really positive experience using this vet. The staff were really attentive and were able to fit me us quickly for an appointment. They took good care of my cat, and the price was very reasonable so I will be coming back in the future!

Do not take your sick animals to this practice. My poorly kitten was seen at Kings Heath as the Maypole clinic was closed due to Covid. Advised blood test were needed, very expensive, didn't mind as wanted to get the cat better. Advised the vet would call me back within 7 days. Nearly a month on and several calls to them i'm none the wiser. Always told the vet is busy consulting but I am on the list for a call back, never happened. I advised on each call that the cat was still struggling and hadn't got any painkillers left but again just told no-one available to discuss the results. Called today again and was told no vets on site as all sick. Aswell as the poor review I am leaving I will be issuing a formal complaint against the practice.I have had to arrange an appointment elsewhere so nearly 200.00 out of pocket and a distressed kitty.

Chose this vet as it was the closest and my cat didn't travel well. The receptionists and nurses are lovely but over two years I rarely saw the same vet twice. I do think this has an impact on the level of care they can provide. My cat had regular blood tests from November last year and had to be PTS in June. I do wonder if additional testing may have made a difference, but things like x-rays and ultrasounds have to be done elsewhere and for things that could be done in-house, you would usually have to book another appointment. Examinations were often brief and one time the vet hadn't realised she was there for a blood test until I pointed it out, suggesting some communication issues when booking.

Previously great service but they closed the King's Heath location without telling their customers. I only found out when we needed an emergency appointment and had to instead go to a different branch 12 miles away. Now keep on being chased to book a health check and told it's overdue even when they know we had to find another local vet who could see us and they sent across records.

Terrible service. Being transferred to Erdinton.Do not have transport,Taxi would cost £30.disgusting.No vets at Kings Heath. The reason I chose there was because it was local.Paying pet care but had no treatment for my dog .disgusted.

This is my vets of choice. Fantastic service and the staff are all friendly; you can see their passion for animal care and animals themselves. The staff treat each animal as if they were their own, which means I trust them and comfortable leaving my dog in their care; which means I worry less and are not as nervous as I would be. The emotions are still there, as they appear every time he isn't by my side but I'm not pacing and chewing off my nails while phoning the vets every two minutes to inquire about him. The staff quickly put you at ease as well. The staff listen to what you tell them about your pet and even remember it on your next visit! They make you feel as if your pet is the only patient that they have. You can ask as many questions and they'll happily answer them. The prices aren't too bad either, they do quite a few deals that are really good value for money. The pricing actually quite fair, for the average person, it is actually manageable, depending on the size of the dog, you could get your animal castrated, chipped and its starter injections from as little as £110 pounds which is a bargain. You don't actually have to re mortgage your house every time you book a vet appointment, haha. You can also go in anytime to get your pet weighed and get dietary advice if you need it. I cannot fault the place. I now will never go to another vets! (Excluding out of hours of course, I'd take my dog if he needed to go there)

Went to the vets because I found lumps on my dog's stomach/breast. The vet seems polish (not quite sure) but she was the worst vet I have ever met. She didn't really look/touch the lump. All she did was tell me to book another appointment for surgery but did not explain what the lump is. IS IT CANCEROUS? I know there is no way of knowing until it is tested so why the hell can't they take a sample and test it to see if it's cancerous. WHAT REALLY ANNOYED ME, was that she went on to tell us that my dog needed to be spade and teeth need to be polish/extracted and so on.....I also took my other dog (male) and the vet was like both of their teeth are just as bad as the other SO WHY DID SHE PRESCRIBE ANTIBIOTIC FOR ONE AND NOT THE OTHER IF THEIR TEETH ARE THE SAME?? She rushed through it all, there was no friendliness and no passion. How can someone be a vet if they are not passionate about animals and rush through the diagnosis. Just really disappointed.....Waste of money and time cause I went to a better vets anyways....The bill came to £76. £26 for consultation for each dog. And £24 for the antibiotic. Just really disappointed....

Only profit oriented vet.Doesn't listen to our real problems with our dog.Only try to book new appointments for next week that are always useless.Charged always different prices for the exact same visit+medecines (From 50 to 120 with no explanation on the price difference)I don't advise you to go there unless you have a real emergency.
