Churchills (Ashley) organised a rental contract and deposit etc with an external landlord for us, they were efficient and very pleasant to deal with (anyone who has rented before will know this isn’t always a given!).

I was undertaking a move from the Midlands to York and Churchills made it very easy for me to view, apply and obtain a home all within 10 days of my arrival! The team were friendly and approachable at all times - from the staff member who came out in pouring rain for the viewing to Shaneece and Stuart who made the application and key handover process smooth and effortless. I get the impression that the team at Gillygate really do care about finding appropriate tenants for the properties they manage and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much - I love my new home!

We have rented our first house with Churchill’s and they made the whole process so simple and quick. In less than two weeks we were moving in! All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, especially Connor Logan who is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely caring about tenants.We received an excellent level of communication throughout the application process and referencing process. We expected this to be overwhelming but we were walked through it step by step and it was completely stress-free. We cannot recommend Churchill’s enough.

We rented with Churchills for 3 and a bit years, when we moved out Sally was helpful in sorting out our moving out and relocating, and dealt with the professional cleaners to ensure we got our deposit back. Whilst we were living in a Churchills property they were good at sorting out any repairs in good time, and were hands off other than the annual inspection.

I've had recently a very good experience with Churchills Lettings team, while looking for a place to rent in York. Stuart was very helpful with arranging the viewing and taking me through all the steps to finalise the renting of the property afterwards. They have all the procedures set up and working for viewings, reference checks, signings and payments. Communication is very good as well, they respond quickly and give all the information one needs. I highly recommend Churchills for lettings.

I highly recommend Churchills Estate agents. The team for rentals at Gillygate has been amazing from the time I first started speaking to them and even after my rental has finished. At the start they went above and beyond to get me into a property in a very short space of time and make sure i had everythingi needed, the communication has always been on the ball, I really can't fault them, genuinely. Now my tenancy has ended and I've moved country, they are still helping me by sending the paperwork and references I need! An outstanding and lovely team of people, thanks guys.
