I have visited Irene multiple times for different alterations but this time I have visited to have my wedding dress & bridesmaid dresses altered. This lady is nothing short of a miracle worker. She has done the most incredible job on all the dresses. She’s such a lovely, amazing & knowledgable lady who really makes the experience one to remember. Irene is a lifesaver! She altered my bridesmaids dress that was originally supposed to be worn in August 2020, and I'm now currently 30 weeks pregnant and have just worn it for the rearranged wedding in Feb 2022! She spent time with me talking about the best options, and she put so much thought into making sure that not only the dress still looked good, but that it was comfortable for me for the day as well. Irene kept good communication with me throughout, and was always willing to answer my questions (and stop me stressing!) From start to finish Irene was so helpful, taking time to make sure I was happy with the look of my new suit trousers before going ahead and making undetectable alterations to them. Cannot recommend highly enough.

What can I say – what an amazing lady. I needed the neck line hiring at incredibly short notice. She could have just put a quick stitch in but instead did a really thorough job of matching the pattern and stitching it in carefully. I couldn’t be more pleased. Five stars. Cannot recommend enough.

I was the Mother of the Bride and also walking my daughter down the aisle - I approached Irene about having a full length dress made from velvet. What can I say - Irene is amazing. She worked so hard and was so dedicated in creating a design that was around what I had in mind. The design she created was flattering, unique and sophisticated for my daughters special day. I had so many compliments and it’s a great feeling knowing that my outfit was ‘unique and made just for me’. I was one extremely happy customer. Irene also did all the alterations for the bridesmaids dresses and trouser alterations for other wedding guests. Irene is an absolute ‘Gem’ and my forever go to Dressmaker. I highly recommend Irene.
