I have bought Gaggenau appliances for over 30 years but my recent experiences with them have been very disappointing. I will not buy from them again.Gaggenau's promise is to supply spare parts for 10 years after production of any model stops. However, they now outsource most of their parts production and have become little more than final assemblers. As a result, they have lost control of parts production and can no longer honour the 10-year promise. I had a faulty oven and before the engineer even looked at it, he told me that the necessary replacement part was no longer in production so he could not repair it. The visit took less than 10 minutes and was a complete waste of time, not to mention the call out charge of £129. Promised calls to discuss a discount on a replacement oven never came. In my view I should have been told about the problem with the parts supply before the visit was arrangedIn the past I believed that the very high prices charged by Gaggenau could be justified by the quality of the product and the long life expectancy. I have learnt an expensive lesson from this and will never buy from them again

If you want peace of mind and a stress free life, then I'd suggest that you do NOT purchase their products. Customer service is so poor and anaemic, that the thought of calling them up chills my spine. I bought one of their ovens which almost burnt my house down. They don't take ownership or any responsibility whatsoever. For a supposed luxury brand you'd expect so much more. At least for the sake of safety, give Gaggenau the wide-berth.

same as many other reviews.I bought a Gaggenau oven second hand from the estate of an older lady for the upgrade of my kitchen. (thought it was an opportunity to get one piece of kit a bit cheaper and then buy the rest new) When it arrived there were technical problems. Called the service, that arrived, charged me £100 to tell me that the spare part needed is discontinued and the oven is worthless. He did not even have to take a screw driver out of his tool bag for that. (so could have told me via phone and not charged...)Are we really in a world where a super expensive piece of kit should be not supported any more !!!below 10 years old!! ???? <-- contact with the head office and UK branch just said sorry we can not help.I would not buy again and not recommend to buy. (which is sad, as the kit itself is actually very good! Well done product designers and manufacturing team! as well the service person that came to my house was very kind)

Not very helpful really. Direct me to dealers to ask technical questions about whether items would fit on a particular cabinetry set up.

Spent a fortune on dream" Gaggenau appliances. What a disastrous mistake. Put aside faults and breakdowns

Staff seem preoccupied. When spending £30k on appliances, you would hope that staff were more attentive. They were more bothered about getting you out the door. Miele showroom down the road is far superior in every way. Miele appliances are also far better.

Went to the showroom having made an appointment, saw Noshin and was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. We knew the majority of appliances we wanted and she helped us look at and decide others. Not all models are on shown hence we were directed to dealers who would have them. Overall a really nice experience and got what we needed from the appointment.

Would not buy again!The oven requires constant servicing due to continually breaking down - The electrics are always faulty and they have even caused a small fire.Product is not up to scratch.After a few years other appliances including the fridge freezer, wine fridge and dish washer look shoddy and are falling apart.I have had cheaper appliances that have lasted longer.Customer service - no one ever rings back.

10 days to repair a leaking oven. outrageous call out charges for off warranty.

Disappointing to see one of your vans using parent and child parking at Sainsbury’s on Trafalgar Way in Croydon this morning. No child was present. Such behaviour denies other parents the ability to use these spaces.
