such a good experience when looking for a house next year. James showed us around and was so friendly, genuine and it's clear he enjoys his job. He was incredibly informative and was able to answer all of our questions, he totally sold the house for us.

Honestly can't rate student choice enough :) I've only been with one other letting agent and my experience was terrible. Student choice is such a breath of fresh air, the staff are so lovely and always happy to help. I even accidently handed my charm in with my keys and one agent Jordan dug through the bin to find it!! Today there was lots of confusion and panic on my end about a housing situation and one of the letting agents Hannah was unbelievably helpful sorting the situation out for me promptly and reassuring my nerves, even after calling her 3 times within the space of an hour, she was still happy to help and so friendly! They are also brilliant with handling issues around rent installments and maintenance issues, all they ask is for you to communicate when you can pay depending on student finance and if there's an issue with the house they sort it out ASAP. When you're looking for a house they are conscious that many students don't drive and if you meet them at the office they drive you around to the different locations. Can't recommend enough for any student looking for a letting agents in plymouth. This is my 3rd year with them and I'll be with them until I finish my education, thanks guys! ❤️

I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by this letting agency and would have given them more than 5 stars. The facilities offered are excellent, and the accommodation's proximity to the University and the Student Choice office is very convenient. Any problems that were reported were promptly attended to by Ms. Helen and Mr. James. My stay has been incredibly comfortable, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend Student Choice to any student seeking a safe and comfortable living space in Plymouth. I would like to express my gratitude to Student Choice, as I already miss my room. The team are good at quickly fixing any concerns I’ve had with my house. James was especially helpful when I was unhappy about my rent price increase for the following year. He got in touch with the landlord and managed to get the prices for all my housemates and I decreased to a number I was much happier to pay.

I had a horrible experience living with Student Choice last year! Although staff are friendly you have to pester them to take action on issues, and they have terrible contact with their landlords.The only reason why I'm writing this review is because I was speaking to another student who also has had issues with them. My room was riddled with mould, and even damaged some of my university work, and a shelving unit I brought for extra storage.I was also appalled to find out they are now classing the tiny room I stayed in as a 'medium double', which is ridiculous for the very low quality of the room, storage space and desk space. Not to mention the £35 price increase of the room for this next year coming, and are still falsely adverting a dishwasher at the property (we were told in our viewing in 2020 there was one too, which their wasn't). Obviously I understand the cost of living has gone up but that is extortionate, they really are ripping students off! At that price your better off staying in halls!My advice to anyone looking to rent with Student Choice is to be extra vigilant and pay very close attention to every room, as although it may look brand new it may have underlying issues.Other recommendations would be Bryce Properties, Purple Lettings or Tudor Price.
