Happy Tortoise Habitat

We ordered a table with shelf and were initially concerned when our order hadn't arrived by the stated date (a delay of 10 days was stated on the website, which had passed), after calling we were told that our order was being sent out the next day but this turned out not to be true, a week later we were again told it was being sent out the next day which also didn't happen. It did eventually arrive, 40+ days after the order was placed, which actually wouldn't have been too much of a problem if we hadn't been given false delivery dates 2 times when it clearly wasn't ready. Unfortunately when it did arrive it was missing the lid for the hideaway so we had to contact again and were told that it had been left out by mistake and would be sent out the next day... it never arrived and we gave up on chasing it up as we were in the process of moving home. I have given 2 stars instead of 1 as the table itself is actually good quality (although does look different from the image on the website presumably because of issues getting building materials due to current events) however this doesn't make up for the missing parts and false promises regarding delivery.

*update- now he says he is on holiday. Failed to mention that, too. This man couldn't lie straight in bed. Avoid.Very rude and a lier. Ignored emails. When I clicked on the website it had a link to a Facebook page (where i saw some quite negative reviews amongst the good ones). Not much recent activity on it. Went back to the website and text the number on it to ask if the business was still operating. Was told it was. Explained I'd emailed and not had a response, and was looking at a custom order, but as there wasn't much activity on Facebook was checking they still even existed. He said he was still working. Still wasn't getting anywhere, as in he was showing absolutely no interest in taking an order. Also he told me he didn't have Facebook. Strange as I had just clicked a link to it from his website. When I queried this he said his 'lad' did the facebook. Asked who then would be responding to my email. He asked for my name and did no more than immediately send an email saying no he couldn't do a custom order. When I said that that was rude (and quite childish) - he could have just replied in the text conversation to apologise and say actually, no it currently wasn't possible to do a custom, as (allegedly he said he was getting his wood in precut). I suggest he amends his website then, instead of saying he can do custom orders in any size, when he clearly can't be bothered. (Sure if he does custom orders he owns the tools to cut stuff to size?) Obviously just doesn't want the business or hassle. Seems the reviews about the rudeness amd lies were indeed correct.

I dont often review many companies but I feel I have to on this occasion as this company does not have a fair rating. Thank you so much for our beautiful tortoise table that currently is the brand new home to our 2x baby hermann tortoises. We brought the large with a starter pack and our hatchlings have tonnes of space. Wonderfully made, super fast delivery and great customer service. Cant thank them enough!

I purchased a turtle house kit recently and I had to cancel the order. Even though the seller approved to refund me the 190€ 15 days ago, he failed to do so and to the date never refunded my money. Email communication hasn't been neither easy nor transparent and seller keep playing games with me. Be mindful when ordering anything from this seller that you may not have any customer protection and he won't conduct business in a honorable manner.

Just received my tortoise table, now I can't wait to get it set up with substrate and decorations for my tortoise to enjoy. The pictures don't do these tables justice. Beautifully made, and attention to detail is exceptional. It arrived 5 working days after delivery. It was well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase from here. Owner was very polite and helpful when I telephoned. The price for this table was brilliant, you just couldn't make it yourself and it look as good for the price I paid. Thankyou happy tortoise habitat, I absolutely love it !

I’ve just received my fabulous penthouse tortoise house. It’s beautifully made and a great size. Mr Darcy is having a great time exploring his new home.

Received my tortoise table this morning, I have to say the attention to detail on the wood is brilliant. The table itself it really good quality, and love the starter pack that comes with it. Would definitely order from Ken again.

Bought for my son for christmas, the table is amazing really well made came with everything we needed, cant believe how small the tortoise is but hes doing amazing and very well loved by us all thank u so much

Just to update. The tortoise and table are still going well. The tortoise has grown a bit and loves petunias rather than weeds. Becoming more active over time. I have to admit I was a little worried when I read the reviews on here but we had a pleasant experience. The table did take 18 days to arrive but there were a lot of events going on at the same time with corona, flooding and Brexit. I ordered the Tortoise Table Full Set Up. The table is very good quality, solid and larger than we expected. I decided to buy the large table as then I don't need to upgrade it for a few years. I always managed to get hold of the owner on the phone when I was checking delivery dates and always friendly responses. The courier was good. We had a call the evening before so that we knew the delivery time. The tortoise is very sweet. Walking around and digging. Looks a little lost in the huge table but has been exploring.2023 - just an update to say the tortoise is growing and is still healthy. Has a grumpy personality but eats like a horse. No thistle is safe.

Good seller. Explained everything we needed to know about owning a tortoise. Also they sell lights and tortoise house if you need one. I can recommend this seller. Thank you
