Individual therapist nice enough but when things went wrong I felt the service was very poor. Little or no concern over the pain and possible infection risk. No offer of remedial action either financially of with a nail remedy. I paid well over the odds for gel nails (£50) I would not recommend and will definitely not go back for treatments of any kind

Not a bad result but not great some of the time on acrylic nails, acrylic doesn't last very long. Sometimes came off within a week or two due to no fault of my own. They weren't keen on admitting that it was lack of prep and experience of the technician. Timings aren't good, usually at least half an hour past the time they say. Lots of people waiting longer than they should and getting fed up. Over priced for the result you get. Over crowded in such a small salon, constantly feel like you're in the way of someone. Doesn't state on the brochure that if one tech does you're nails another tech in the same salon isn't always able to infill their work so they automatically do a new set and charge you for it! When you booked in for infills not a new set! This should be stated on the brochure. The brochure says they can't infill another salons work not a tech from their salon!....I thought this was a cheek and unprofessional.

I have been going here for many years usually with gift vouchers. The staff are very good. Yvonne in particular gives an amazing full body massage.

Pleasant but pointless massage. I asked for a hard massage (albeit no elbows) and that was not what I got. I didn't even get my full 45 mins, it started late and finished early; I got 35 minutes MASSAGE time. When the masseuse asked how it was I replied that I thought that she would have got the knots out, she said that she doesn't do that. I wondered whether it was because I hadn't booked deep tissue" and she said no it's just because the masseuses who were "firmer" than her don't work there anymore or don't work Saturdays. They offered me 20% off my next massage but I won't be going back. 2 stars because my first couple of apps were good and this was a voucher which I didn't want to waste. Clearly gone down hill since my first massage there a few years ago."

Worst set of acrylics I've ever had. I asked for long spiked nails and half way through doing the set was told they couldn't do that as my natural nails were too short - they were the same length as I usually keep them and no other nail salon has had that problem. I have come out with nails different lengths and different shapes. Absolutely appalling. As well, a set of acrylics & shellac is usually £40 but Callula charge £46.50. Will not be returning and now have to pay for a soak off and another set somewhere else. Very angry.

I love Callulla. I go every 3 to 4 weeks to have my nails done. I love the sculpted acrylics rather than tips and they last really well. Last alot longer than other nail technician i have previously been to. I wouldn't go anywhere else now and everyone is very welcoming.

l was not happy with the unprofessional attitude of the manager, who wouldn't allow me to use a eyebrow wax voucher that was out of date. l explained that l wasn't comfortable coming into the salon as l hadn't been vaccinated.She then tried to make me feel bad that her staff had come in and had to deal with it and so therefore so should l.When l was explaining my dilemma, l could hear her sighing and she used a really rude tone.l feel that an eyebrow wax would have taken 5 minutes and as im a regular customer she could of accommodated me.l will never visit Callula again and lve always purchased gift vouchers in the past and had treatments.

Although my first experience at Callula did not get off to a great start, I was blown away by the members of staff who handled the situation professionally, and were very sweet and friendly. Eloise, Deborah, and Yvonne each deserve 5* for their services. I experienced one of the best sugaring services I have ever had from Deborah.
