They repaired a machine of ours and told us they would delivery it next day. 3 days later it still wasn't shipped and the lady on phone laughed and said because we had not paid? No one had sent us a pro-forma or chased payment (bad business practice) yet we were told it was shipped? Machine was repaired and delivered by a very competent service engineer (Colin) but 2 days later a courier turned up to collect a pallet??? (again bad business practice and waste of company's money). Can't fault the engineer but clearly poor management at top level resulting in low customer satisfaction and wastefulness or companies capital that inevitably has to get passed on to the customer.

We ordered more than 3.000 EUR value, received not the ordered product and not received some ordered products. Webshop includes several items what are not available anymore. Too much countries involved in poor customer service process, no punctual informations. Slow feedbacks, no exact answers, just cheating.

Used Southgate for years at various companies, used to be good but got worse and worse last few years to the point they are now as much help as the seven dwarfs making up the wall to defend a Messi free kick. And before you even do your automated “Strive to provide a 5star experience” response, there is more chance of the band 5star making a comeback than you reaching anywhere near that score…..chasing a problem for an eternity with them “I cant wait, cant wait another minute”

Oof. Appeared to be a small business found on Google, ordered on 28th August, took until the 28th September to get a refund. Next working day" postage

Online place for packing materials

No support or interest in sending off orders. My team placed an order at the end of August through a website, on account, after confirmation email there was no follow up from anybody, a week later the order did not come, this was chased up by emails many times, and 3 phone calls, each phone call ended with a promise that the order would be shipped out. Big thanks to Jodie T. who mislead us so many times and did not resolved outstanding problem, we wanted to receive an order as it was delayed already not to apply for credit account at that time, she did not mention that order would need to be paid to be shipped, which wouldn't be a problem if an PROFORMA / INVOICE would be sent. So summarize, orders are not sent on time, customer service is not existence, emails are not answered or after chasing the emails do not address the issue, not much support in general, many of staff members going off on leave or are not longer with the company. Today I have spoken with Holly today who didn't want to take an order or help me with our situation, she was short and wanted to get rid of me from the phone saying Jodie will come back to me, I think she was tiring of work to speak with anyone. And this is how this company operates by telling someone will look at it or someone will contact you. Then at the end someone called me saying they do not take orders from end users. Well so many years, I think it is 8 now, you knew who we are that long!! So disrespectful and pity! UNPROFFESIONALSomething bad happened with this company management, people at Southgate are not motivated to work!

Brilliant company, back up and support is second to none. We have been with this company since 1985 . 5 stars well done .
