We’ve been coming here for years, and have found that we are rarely disappointed. Had breakfast today and it was utterly delicious. Great service from staff, who are very good with children. Always a good stop in the way to the coast.

Went for the quiz night with my work colleagues. The quiz was good. Food options were Chicken caesar salad, chickpea and spinach curry and hot dog and chips with dessert options of Eton Mess, Gin and tonic cheesecake and chocolate Brownie. I didn't really enjoy my choice as it was a little bland, and the Brownie was very dry. But the chickpea and spinach curry was absolutely delicious. I think we would all go again but we all agreed it would be nice for a little more variety to choose from.

Great place for brunch. Food very tasty as all is fresh from their own farms. Very large dining area plenty of tables and chairs. Very clean and modern. Staff helpful and informative. Great place to stop for a break if on A12 just before Orwell Bridge if heading East.

We visited yesterday nice food at a reasonable price lovely atmosphere and decor with stunning views. We had 2 x roast beef and 2 x nut roasts with 3 x banana pudding and ice cream we each had a drink Total cost £99.50. The staff were friendly and the food timings were spot on we shall definitely be going back.

Came for breakfast on the first day of our holiday and the English breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! The waitress who served us was extremely helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements. Lovely view of the bridge over the river Orwell.

We thought we would revisit the restaurant after its refurb. Our previous experiences had been underwhelming, but we wanted to give the place another chance. It did not go well and we won't be returning.The place looks lovely post refurb and nothing can ever beat the views across the river and of the bridge. That is where the praise has to stop, sadly.The food was dreadful. We had burgers, and fish and chips. The burgers were supposed to come with smoked cheese
