Chimichanga

The exterior and design were lovely the beauty of this restaurant was unfortunately only skin deep. The service and food were left to be desired. We ordered fajitas mine was a combo the meat was fairy tender but there was hardly any of it. Upon looking across to another table I saw that another customer had nearly twice as much. I asked the waiter about this but he only fobbed me off saying that apparently I had the correct number of strips of meat. Some of these strips did not even measure 5 mm in width. I would strongly advise against going to this restaurant for a meal it is pricey and you will walk out hungry. There are a number of quality Mexican restaurants in the area which focus on quality of experience rather than a facade, this is not one of them.

Great food, pricey drinks though. Attentive staff made sure we weren't hungry for long!A little light on spice for my taste, but a great range of flavours otherwise.

One of the worst dining experiences any of us has ever experienced. We booked a table in advance and they still turned us away when we got there, saying it was going to be another half an hour before we could be seated. You don't expect to be turned away when you've arrived on time for the table that you have already booked!Even when we came back, they still made us wait for a full 20 mins to be seated (no offer of complimentary drinks or snacks or anything). The staff were flustered, dismissive and even rude throughout. Not even an attempt at an apology for the inconvenience at any point in the evening.Even when our food did finally arrive, it wasn't very pleasant. Bland, mushy and either under or over cooked. certainly not worth the price or the lengthy wait.Very disappointing experience and one we don't intend to repeat.I do not advise anyone to dine here. EVER!

Great set menu , nachos are especially good but burgers just OK

Great atmosphere lovely staff, the food is good but a bit pricey-understandabke because if it's location. Unfortunately the service gets off to a slow start but once orders are taken, food and drinks are promptly served. However, it takes time for waiting staff to return to tables to take desrert or second drinks orders. Also a bit of a wait to get the bill. Will definitely visit again

The place was empty at 21:30 on a Sunday night. We wanted 2 starters and a shared meal for two. We ordered a bottle of wine and were told we could not have this unless we ordered main courses . WE LEFT. THEIR LOSE. 10 minutes later we were across art Ask Italian and had a lovely meal . £40 in their till more than ChimiCrapservicio. NEVER AGAIN.

Meal for four adults at 7pm on a Thursday, without booking. Restaurant clean, spacious and decorated well. Waitress Michaela put us in a nice booth table by the window. Two cocktails were good (and seemed to contain correct amount of alcohol, instead of being mostly syrup water - mentioning no names #TGI!) and not too expensive for a restaurant. Also ordered jug of free water which waitress presented garnished with ice and lemon, as were the four water glasses. Lesser restaurants seem to punish you for ordering free water by presenting grubby jug and glasses with little or no ice, so this touch was great. Starters nachos and chicken wings were good. Mains two bass fillets, quesadilla and a Burger all really good, fish was super fresh and tender. Vouchercloud code gave us 40% off mains for meals for four, so just over £65… bargain! Will return, an excellent experience. Note, if you add tip to card amount not all of it is given to the waitress, so cash best.

Lovely mexican restaurant, with great decorations and food. Though not sure they've got the hand of a booking system, luckily we booked but still had to wait 20 minutes for table. About 5 families came in while we were waiting, and the staff turned them away even thought we could plainly see free tables. So not sure what that was about, so I would advise you book.

nice decor, shame no dogs allowed in, the presentation is great but the chicken fajita was tasteless in terms of salt and flavour, worst ever mexican dish....we also had churros which were also a disappointment....shame really, i love mexican, and i just cannot understand why they offer that horrible tabasco sauce....

It's okay" is a great summary of Chimichanga. The food is nice but not great
