Cobbler's Café & Wine Bar
Disappointingly a really poor overall experience today. We arrived after what appeared to be a busy breakfast session. Lots of tables required clearing and the staff seemed preoccupied. We waited patiently to have our drinks order taken, which was eventually taken but took a long time to arrive. I made sure to place our food order once the drinks had arrived given how long that took. When the food arrived my cooked breakfast was disappointingly small and I'd eaten most of it before my toast arrived. The manager was more interested in her mobile phone than dealing with customers. The young staff seemed lacklustre and I saw them sitting down when there were tables to be cleared and orders to be taken? The service was appallingly slow and inattentive? Our plates weren't cleared at all and after sitting for a good half hour after we'd obviously finished our meal, nobody bothered to take our dessert order? That's 4 desserts Cobblers could have sold if they'd have been attentive. I didn't complain at the time as I felt it would have fallen on deaf ears. Shame on you Cobblers. I'm extremely reluctant to return.

Nice cafe & is good as its busy but slightly abit too noisy, we did have to wait rather a long time for our drinks, scones came out first & then cold once our drinks arrived, good chutney served with the scones but they are not flavoursome enough! More cheese needed & slightly bigger would be better.

Cobbler's Café & Wine Bar
Excellent food. I've had an outdoor BBQ there as a group event (evening), and have enjoyed great, lunch time, light meals and cakes. The staff are so friendly, helpful and really look after you well. It's going to be a regular of mine.

Really great local Cafe, been waited to try since we moved here last month, and we were not disappointed. The Eggs Royale were amongst the best I have tried anywhere. Great service from a young and friendly staff. Very well organised for Covid safety. Many thanks to you all

Thank you so much to all the staff at Cobblers who make our regular visits so much fun! Cobblers has become not just a cafe to my friend an me, it has become a place that makes memories! Used to be great... Now operating a reduced summer menu which is quite limited.Original review below.A great place to hangout and eat. There is a really cute outside dining courtyard. We stopped in for lunch and had a duck wrap, jacket potato and just had to try the nachos. The waitress reccomended the chilli nachos so we went with that. Have to say, impressed. Cool vibe, good variety of food and drinks. We will be back.

Popped in for a quick latte and was seduced by the delicious almond croissant sitting in the basket ......There is always a lovely family feel to the place, staff are all extra helpful, polite and jovial but not so much so that they're intrusive to your visit. Great menu for a light bite or meal. The outdoor seating is great in this sunny weather, and you can reserve your favourite seat if you wish to.

Overpriced hot choc, staff too busy talking to each other.Hot choc not even full in the cup and tasteless, cost a lot considering its awful. Won't be backCame in on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago.Was 1000% cobblers in the high street and was definitely open on the Saturday to!
