I came to Acupoint after being involved in an RTA. After countless sessions of physiotherapy, I saw no improvement and was sick of living with chronic back pain. I was sceptical about acupuncture, but was willing to give anything a go. I’ve now has 4 sessions & another final booked, and I’m a new woman! Charlotte manages her time in sessions so well, and focuses on a holistic approach, teaching other exercises and techniques to help with pain. Even from my first session, the improvement in both my pain and mobility was incredible. I am sharing my experience as a former NHS health professional, now needing treatment myself . The side effects of medication I am taking long-term result in hot sweats and joint pains , which has been difficultto manage . Acupuncture by Charlotte at Acupoint has been invaluable in reducing my symptoms drastically in both frequency and duration. Initially a 6 week course , I am now performing self acupuncture 2-3 times per week and seeing Charlotte in 12 weeks time for electro-acupuncture , this will gradually space out to longer intervals and reduce your costs if you need longer-term sessions . I am aware for some people the results can be slower and more difficult to achieve but I cannot speak highly enough of the benefits I have gained. Charlotte is very professional, the treatment room is very calming , spotlessly clean and she offers relaxation techniques at the same time. A very professional service , a confidential space where I feel I can discuss anything with her. Her knowledge base , skills , research and advice are second to none . Self acupuncture under Charlotte's guidance is easy to perform , she will give you as much support as you require , it doesn't matter how many times you are unsure of anything , she can help you. I now feel I am in control of my everyday life again and can continue the outdoor activities and exercise that I love to do , without the resulting side effects. A truly lovely person who I am so happy to have found and put my trust in , thank you so much Charlotte for helping me regain normality again.

I went along abit sceptical about Acupuncture but I was amazed with the results, I had lower back pain and pain in the top of my thigh after a hip replacement. After the first couple of sessions it started to feel better and with the relaxation techniques and stretching it’s easy to calm it down now if it should flairs up , I couldn’t recommend Acupoint any more ,

Having had 2 back surgeries in recent years I have suffered with lower back back pain ever since. Physios and Osteopaths have done their best but still the problem continued.Acupoint was recommended to me by a close friend and I have to say I've always been sceptical as to whether acupuncture actually works. Well believe me ladies and gentlemen IT REALLY DOES!!Charlotte is absolutely amazing. She is always very welcoming and thoroughly explains how the treatment works, and is always putting your mind at ease while getting you into a relaxing frame of mind. Charlotte also thoroughly explains how to train your brain to further your recovery post treatment, and believe me, this has been a god send. My back has been in the best condition it's been in for years and I can't thank Charlotte enough for getting me there. I am now comfortably playing 18 holes of golf with little or no discomfort.I cannot thank or recommend Acupoint enough! Outstanding!I wouldn't go anywhere else.

She takes a holistic approach to acupuncture, also incorporating her knowledge as an NHS nurse and mind/body practitioner. Everything she does is backed by medicine/science/neuroscience and she is explains her processes in a manner that is clear and compassionate. She can suggest things to do at home as well to help you feel better. Charlotte at Acupoint is a also just a very kind and positive human being! I enjoyed my sessions with her over the last few months. Charlotte is a rare find. I highly recommend her!
