If I could give 0 stars I would. They tried to stop my partner's sleeping medications causing him to relapse on hard drugs and self harm. We are writing a report to the CQC detailing their many failings. Make sure you request meds week's in advance because they can't get even get simple things like prescriptions correct. Like the blind leading the blind.Avoid like the plague and even then try somewhere else. Idiots

The lack of care or concern is shown immediately someone picks up the phone and the pharmacy staff are awful with a nasty attitude and will not go out of their way at all to help or understand when you explain why you are asking about your prescription Ihate dealing with them as its the same every time and I know many many people feel exactly the same

If I could give no stars for this diabolical joke of a practice I would. Firstly the receptionists are so rude and unprofessional and wouldn't know compassion if it was right in front of them how they have a job is beyond me. You spend sometimes up to an hour on the phone on hold ( currently experiencing high level of calls ) This is constant. When you do get through sometimes the appointments are weeks if not months in advance so what's the point. You cannot see a GP face to face it's always telephone consultation which is ridiculous now.They regularly cancel nurse and GP appointments and then you have to wait another few weeks on top of the weeks you've been waiting. Needless to say I'm changing GP surgeries joke of a place.

I find doctors and the nurses do there best.But the new receptionist is rude doesn’t understand you and doesn’t really look like she knows what she is doing.

Our 6 year old Daughter got sick 3 days after arriving in the UK. We were very concerned and called 111. They reffered us to Theale Medical Center. I must say from the lady that assisted over the phone to the doctor who we ended up seeing in person for a consult 2 hours later they were amazing, friendly and helpful. We are now registering full time with them and are happy our daughter is on the mend. Thank you all

My experience with Theale Medical Centre is always great and awesome.From reception (no matter call in or in person), 3 different GPs I have experienced in past years, even recently the IT team as I was checking if we could use the Patient Access to do booking online and the in charge even meet me to explain the situation. Then recently the engagement with admin team - all swift and detailed response.Understand the reception team may need more resources as normally it’s some wait but I see that is reasonable giving the short of hands with a lot of multitasking.I was concerned when seeing the rating low at 2.x in Google review hence prompt me for this review to recognise the great work from the outstanding team in THC, thank you & keep it up!

I have got the worse medical attention in my life today from this centre.I am asked to wait 2 weeks (15/05/23) before I a GP sees me for raise blood pressure, headache and insomnia. I have had cardiac concern post COVID vaccination.Reception hunged the phone on me

I have been a patient at Theale for six years and never had an issue. Urgent issues seen to quickly and non urgent issues I have got resolved. I have a fantastic doctor, but the other doctors there are good too. I personally wouldn’t hesistate in recommending.

Booked face to face appt waited 2 months to see GP to get there and be told I missed appt as it was an hour earlier. This was not the time I had been given. Young Receptionist rude and non helpful. Disgrace of a surgery looking to move.
