I purchased the vehicle on 28/08/2017. The incredibly short test drive provided didn't allow for the problem to manifest itself.After purchasing the car, I began to notice that the left front nearside wheel was slightly warmer than the other side, this would indicate to me that the brake caliper was sticking slightly and dragging the brakes. The severity of the problem was somewhat intermittent.I called Elegance Motors over the weekend (09/09/17) to seek advice and also query the fact that we have not received any of our warranty details. He advised that he will sort it out shortly and for me to call him then. I called him at the specified time, to which he said we hadn’t received anything because we supplied the incorrect email address (which we hadn’t). I was not happy with that explanation, so I called Warrantywise and they said we did not have a policy at all in place. I contacted the dealer and he said it will all be sorted.The dealer sorted out the warranty with Warrantywise. I called Warrantywise and told them exactly the problem I had, they said take it to VAT registered garage to get it sorted. The garage diagnosed (14/09/17) it as faulty caliper, however because the warranty does not cover braking components I had to pay out of pocket for this. The garage charged £220.30 and they have said the car would not pass an MOT had it been tested in that state.I called the dealer to resolve the issue (14/09/17), I mentioned that the warranty does not cover this and asked for advice on how we can resolve the problem mutually. He said it’s not his problem and he has done everything that needs doing on his part and it’s down to me to sort this out, as the vehicle is sold as seen and was of good quality when the vehicle was soldThe car had done less than 500 miles and had been in my possession for less than 2 weeks. I had a issue with my e90 bmw I had been to many mechanics around the Slough area and even bmw and no one could tell me what the exact issue was only a potential list of issues and prices, they got me a great trade price on the parts and put their heart into working on the car whilst being courteous and professional all the way through, I have always been skeptical of mechanics but this was the best experience Ive had, very reasonably priced , great attention to detail and brilliant customer service aswell as this they maintained contact with me all the way through and finished the car in 24 hours and it’s driving better than ever! Thanks guys!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Firstly, be wary of the review scores - they ask customers to complete reviews when completing the sale so it's hardly the best time for you to be critical to them.In my experience, the worst quality car and service you could have, and I regret that isn't hyperbole. Car (VW Golf) was bought with 3 month warranty - I had a number of issues with the car within the first couple of weeks - gear, battery, electrics, engine. Every time I visited to check progress or drop in the car/pick up the car, I was waiting at least 45 minutes, normally 1 hour minimum. In the end, the car couldn't be fixed as they couldn't find the issue after having the car for 6 weeks (I had used it for 4 weeks). Received no updates / very difficult to contact and in the end agreed to a refund, but when I went to the offices to process this they tried to make up costs to further deduct from the overall refund, including an admin fee of £250 (which was laughable considering their inept service).In the end, I got a full refund through a disputed charge with my bank card, with no qualms. Elegant Motors simply lack professionalism from every angle - service and quality.

Just bought a great looking Astra from this company.. they were very professional and even delivered the car to me free of charge.They have been honest so far.. and have stayed true to their comments. I hope they stay professional and honest as there are not many of these vehicle traders around.. 5/5

Very disappointed with how much has gone wrong with the car and how much we've had to spend on it since we purchased it from here 4 months ago whilst heavily pregnant and due to go on maternity leave. The car has needed all new tyres within a week, I got home to discover the window washer pump was broken thus leaking any fluid i put in, I needed new front and back brake pads and discs which cost a fortune and the left suspension was, as quoted by my mechanic rotten to the core" aswell as rotting on the whole underneath of the car. The pully arm on the engine was also rotten and braking away and needed urgent replacment before it broke and ruined the engine. My mechanic was gobsmacked that I had been driving my newborn in the car that was so unsafe. If they have the concious to sell a pregnant women such a unsafe heap imagine what they can sell someone without a child. I Wish I had read reviews before going here and I hope this review helps others!An update... a year down the line I've probably spent another couple of grand repairing the car including the roll bar

Thieves. Bought a Citroen C3 for £900. Clutch gave out within days, was in warranty so we took it back. Found another car we liked, asked if we could be refunded and buy the new car, or part ex it with them. They said we couldn’t do either of those things: some nonsense about registration - the only option was they keep the Citroen and sell it for us and we buy the other car. Agreed to that.Only found out they sold it when I looked on their site and it wasn’t there. I then called and they admitted they sold it. It went for £800, a bit disappointed to lose £100 on it considering it came in a warranty abut we still somehow lost money. It then took months, and dozens of calls and messages (mostly ignored) for them to transfer the money. When they did it was only £600 because they took a £200 “admin fee”. I text to discuss it and just got “please stop texting me” as a response. Now looking to small claims court to get my money back.Avoid like the plague

BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bought a golf 1.9 diesel from ‘elegant’ motors LtdHe goes the car is perfect no problems whatsoeverFew days in battery went flatI Had to buy a new oneOil return pipe started leakingHe got a scrap one from the dump cut it up and fitted it inHe didn’t tell me the DPF had been deletedHad to ask a mechanic to have a look.Then cv gater was leakingtold him and he goes no what you taking aboutThen he looked at it andHe changed it.Then I took it to a VW specialist someone who’s been in VW cars for more than 25 years.He put the computer in and goes I’ve never seen the code he saw in my golfHe said the engine is not a genuine 1.9 and not put in the right wayCertain pipes hanging around and certain pipes at the end of them were screwsDidn’t bother go back to him cause it’s just a waste of timeWill have to get rid it myselfSo unprofessional and these ‘Traders’ need to be stayed away fromThey just cut corners for money and think you can replace any random oil pipe with something from the scrapAnd no customer care and professionalismPleaee stay away from people like theseAnd save some more money and buy a better car from someone more professional.

Bought my car there. Keys were broken. Dealer promised to fix it and showed me a working key on day of purchase. Key broke down one the first day of driving. Clearly wasn't fixed appropriately. Car dealer doesnt care and wont provide a working key. Spare key is broken as well. AVOIDUPDATE: by now (about 6 months after purchase) the coolent turned out to be leaking. Even more unbelievable: The spare wheel provided with a car has been proven to be flat tyre....

I bought a Toyota rav 4 from this dealer , however it was a long distance buy and the seller agreed to deliver at a price. We ran through lots of questions and checks over the phone , even my Dad spoke to to raj to discuss condition and mechanical state of car and asked if it was a cambelt engine or camchain, raj said chain. I specifically wanted the cam chain engine. Raj was very accommodating over the phone and helpful. Everything sounded perfect and even in the advert it was described as a good condition and first to see will buy and the photos looked amazing. Once the car was delivered this was where my nightmare began. The car had no log book ( which raj failed to mention beforehand) I would NOT of bought this vehicle if I knew there was no log book. Then on my first drive of the car the engine light came on , raj said it was because the diesel was low but speaking to mechanic he had never heard such before. I realised the gears were crunchy So I got a mechanic to look over the car he confirmed the clutch was going. Also then I googled the vehicle registration which came up with it being sold in auction with a lot of damage . This damage was badly repaired and never once mentioned to me in the sale, also the air bags inside the car had been tampered with as the casing over the airbags was all loose. Another thing I noticed was the whole of the car inside and out seemed to be sprayed with Wd 40 or some sort of grease to make it look shiny so no wonder the photos of the car looked amazing, but the car was so greasy to touch inside and out. Then to top it we find out it’s a cambelt engine and its due for change. So called raj and said I wanted to return the vehicle , he said yeah fine but wanted another 175 to pick it up. So that’s 350 for delivering and picking up a FAULTY car that he FALSELY described and misled me into buying. Then to just top this again he wanted to keep another 100 until I sent him the log book as he says he can’t sell it without the log book even though he sold the vehicle to me with out a log book. Absolute joke as then two days after I returned the vehicle he’s got it advertised for 500 more with a new clutch so he had full intention to put it straight back up for sale and clearly knew the car had faults. Please if your looking for an honest car dealer then AVOID this dealer and go somewhere else with a good reputation.

Car purchased end of December 2017 from this dealer. Car is a lemon after a week of having it (leaking oil; so was checked out at a garage and came back with a long list most shocking was engine had been siliconed almost everywhere) I was advised not to drive it. Spoke to dealer about returning the car as I have every right to under statory consumer rights 2015 however when i approched dealer after speaking to citizen advise he was not willing to abide by the law, so I will be taking legal action against him. Please avoid purchasing any vehicles from this company as they are not reliable vehicles and cannot be trusted.
