Verity Keays

Verity is a great singing teacher, I would highly recommend her. I am a professional singer in a 9 piece soul band and I have recently taken some some sessions with Verity to work on some of the technical side of the songs that I sing. Verity has helped me with the placement of my voice and the higher notes on some of the bigger songs in our rep, this has helped to develop my voice further, without straining and damaging my voice when singing live. What I really love about Verity as well is that she has real life experience and knowledge of the voice as well as experience of singing in big stadiums with live bands, this is a huge benefit as different sized spaces and acoustics is totally different to singing to backing tracks. I have been singing with Verity for 16 years now and it has been a hobby I have continued with due to the enjoyment, love, kindness and overall experience Verity has given me. She makes all lessons fun and guides you so well with choosing songs for making Cds and also for the shows she puts on every year. The shows alone have given me so much confidence in myself and with the CDs you can hear your progression which is lovely for family and friends to hear. I cannot recommend Verity enough, I am still continuing my lessons and I hope my daughter follows in my footsteps with Verity!! X

Verity is both a wonderful singing teacher and lovely person. I started my lessons in April after being bought my first few as a Christmas gift and I have been loving going ever since. Verity has taught me so many different techniques when it comes to singing and I can already hear an improvement in my voice. She has given me the confidence boost I needed to record a song which has always been a dream of mine, made even more special when I walked down the aisle to it at my wedding.Would highly recommend her to anyone interested in singing, thank you so much Verity!

For the past 10 years I’ve had singing lessons with Verity and from day one it was fun and exciting to go back each week and learn more. Not only did Verity teach vocal techniques but also how to put passion into a song, along with giving me the confidence to perform in front of any kind of audience. Verity’s yearly shows are a way of learning how to sing on stage with a microphone and confidence building! Verity has been giving my 5 year old daughter singing lessons via Skype and I cannot praise her enough. She is a fantastic singing teacher and knows exactly how to keep my daughter engaged. Her lessons are professional, fresh and most importantly super fun for my young daughter. They are definitely the highlight of her week. Highly recommended.

Verity is an absolutely wonderful singing teacher, I can hear improvements in my own voice every lesson, and she has a wonderful way of explaining how to use your voice. Verity is a great singing teacher. I am very new to singing and she has been supportive and I feel I've already improved so much. The aim is to work on singing actual songs, with the goal of recording a CD, rather than aimlessly doing vocal exercises.
