ScS - Sofas, Flooring & Furniture

We ordered a settee from scs delivery was 12 weeks. 11 weeks in asked for payment we paid in full. Settee arranged delivery on the friday for the van to arrive at our property no settee. To be told parts missing. I phoned customer service to be told the parts was in shop it would be delivered the next day. Which it wad with parts still misdibg. To be told by customer service that it would be 3 workibg days fir parts to come. 2 week later to be told now its gunnna be 4 weeks. Absolutely disgusted with service. Wish we had got our money back. Very disappointed customer

Update 08/08/23Finally I have a date for the repair.... after several emails and calls chasing this... so on the 25th August my sofa's frame is being repaired!!! Its taken me all this time and effort to get SCS to authorise the repair... Please if I could recommend one thing to you avoid this store if you can, I've heard Sofology, DFDS and Barker and Stonehouse are good and I truly wish Id walked passed it and bought somewhere else... who wants a 39 day sofa repairing should have been a replacement and no qiestions asked!!Updated againHad a rather awful email stating I could only have a repair as I was 9 days out of the 30 day rule. I'm not happy and have to accept but please think before you buy from this store as they have shoddy after care and once your furniture leaves the building you may as well forget any customer service. That's my final update over but SCS what a bunch of cowboys!!! Walk past the shop and keep walking I've never dealt with a company like them!!! Truly disgusting!!!!!!!!!Update on my Sofa!!!As I've had my sofa for 39 days not 30 days I have to accept repair!! SCS only give you a new replacement if you have had your sofa for 30 days or less. However clearly the sofa was delivered with a fault, only 2 people had sat on the sofa - I live alone and use the two seater. I am clearly not happy... why would I want a whole frame repairing this early on in a sofas life? Who actually would want that and if its broken once what confidence will I have moving forward? This is on gong as I wont settle for a repair but beware that after care is not SCS forte in fact at this stage I'm really not sure what is to be honest, but I will keep this post updated and if by chance they do the right thing I will post and say that, but lets see as I am now waiting for a call from another Manager watch this space! I say again buyer beware!Poor poor poor!! Sofa collapsed at the front after 5 weeks of being delivered, contacting customer services was a nightmare took me two days and the manager at the Hull store completely ignored my emails. I am waiting now - having spoken to customer service to see how the process goes from here as communication, customer service and professionalism has been very poor up until now! I did a review for them and funnily enough it was rejected and it was along the lines I'm writing now so please be aware that any reviews they have on show aren't a true reflection of the service that you get.I ordered my carpet at the same time as the sofas and the service was awful mis sold carpet care which was added onto my bill without my knowledge. No communication on the day of delivery we literally waited until 6.35pm and at this point I had called the customer services and was told by 4pm!! The carpet salesman was rude and abusive and the manager helpful until delivery and then her whole attitude changed.Very disappointing after sales care, however Harland the sofa salesman was honest and friendly and the sofa delivery guys had excellent communication and turned up on time.Lets see how they manage my broken sofa I have been passed to an insurance company as SCS don't care once they have done the sale!!! So buyers beware!!

Plenty to choose from for a range of budgets.Salesman Paul knowledgeable and we chose what we want, delivery some time off as what we chose is made to order.Car Park - free and plenty of parking for disabled.Accessibility - accessible entrance, lift to 1st floor.Delivery - I will update when we get what we ordered.Staff - I noted comments about competion, between staff and we saw this too and mentioned it to the manager. Attitudes changed before we left. I was not going to mention this, but saw comments in other reviews. If this happens, speak to the Manager.Toilet - staff, but ask.

Paul, sales manager at the store, was really helpful and knowledgeable. After an online furniture purchase saga, it was a relief to speak with someone in the know. The options were plentiful and we found something that's just right for us. The purchase options are workable for any budget too! Really pleased with the process so far and can't wait for the new suite to arrive.

Great friendly staff make you welcome and very helpful let you browse at your own pace no pushy sales people and very helpful and very good advice definitely shop there again

Very happy with the service. I can't comment on the quality as we are still waiting for it to arrive. Suite Ordered in February not delivered until 20th of June. So having to delay the new carpet as we don't want to mark it with the old suite. I didn't expect to have to take up the old carpet and underlay and dispose of it myself at the price they are paying for the fitting.

This company is appauling. Went into view a sofa set i had seen on their website, spoke to a lovely member of staff who was then completely taken over by some arrogant wanna be know it all (think was a manager). I explained i would like to discuss with the first staff member, but they obviously didnt take this well, said they were going to get colour samples and never saw them again. By this point the first member was dealing with someone else so we went and ended up purchasing from DFS next door instead

Don’t deserve even a 1 starAppalling service , lied to by salesman and left with no sofa and no solution because it’s a weekend.Promised backs can come off to fit in our property but sent us a split unit , been told they can take it apart and rebuild in my house which is no good as we are due to move soonDelivery this was a whole new battle twice they cancelled my delivery lost a days wages and still left with no couch. Made complaint about persons asking for manager to call me back still waiting more then 48 hours after originally promisedWill never returnManager was useless and nothing offered other then a call Monday
