Highly recommend Long Ashton Bikesmiths. I bought an electric bike and was given brilliant advice from start to finish. Above expectations on service by Timo. He listened to everything I requested including changing the handlebars to make it easier to sit upright as a more mature rider. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout. Will definitely be back for any service or cycling requirements.

Outstanding service at Long Ashton shop. I had an issue with my road bike which they invited me to bring in straight away if I wanted to. The young mechanic sorted it on the spot as well as giving the bike a general check over and offering great advice. Thank you Bikesmiths!

Four ladies had a lesson with Timu on bike maintenance and it was excellent. He went through general stuff then looked at each of our electric bikes in turn, all different makes, and advised us on maintenance and repairs. We also did hands on wheel removal and brake repairs. A great morning was had by all.

I have used Bikesmiths on several occasions both in Long Ashton and at their previous sites. I have brought them several bikes for servicing and troubleshooting. Timo, Dan and team are always very polite and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and always give honest advice - unlike in some other bike shops. And finally they’re local to the area and have a good understand their customers’ needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

A fantastic service from Bristol Bikesmiths Long Ashton. I know nothing about bikes and was anxious about buying my sons first peddle bike. Usually I feel really intimidated in shops where I have no knowledge, but all of the team put me at ease and spent lots of time with me and my son explaining everything to us, letting him test ride and helping us choose his first peddle bike. They are very knowledgeable and approachable and I felt confident with my decision after all of their input. When my son rode it off the side of a skate ramp on day 4 of having it, they were on hand to check it over and tweak brakes! Thanks again, would highly recommend!
