Atmosphere: not enough seating space and zero cleaning. Probably due to understaffing. I came in on a hot day (7th July at around 10.35AM) and there was no air conditioning even though I asked. Zero ventilation, I felt sorry for the staff working there.Food: they used to serve good food but recently it's more frozen paratha and cooked in way too much oil. I had a full English and it sickeningly oily. Also ordered a shakshuka and it was a mile away from shakshuka. It was strips of frozen paratha with a spicy sauce which they chucked into a microwave with a broken egg on top. So basically a scorchingly hot paper bowl with microwaved egg.I doubt I'll be returning.

Pink Tea colour was a bit weird, lembu paani tasted a bit odd but was ok, will try food next time. Staff was very friendly. Thank you aunty ji

Ordered a breakfast delivery yesterday from Oldham Chaiwala and sadly found a HAIR in the masala beans and the sausages looked burnt.I rang the place who apologised and asked me to come in store to collect another breakfast as they can’t give a refund and to go through delivero.The food was binned.Poor hygiene and won’t be ordering food from here again.

Lady at the counter needs to realise the customer pays. Tried to upsell me cheesy fries without telling me it would be extra for the cheese.. good one!! Very mediocre place. Will not be visiting again.. the chana mix was soo cold and put me off Pani Puri.. average tea and standard fries!!

Ordered on Uber eats and it was absolutely rank, order was completely wrong, butter chicken roll hard, macaroni cheese had a powdered cheese sauce, dry pasta and no actual cheese, masala chips were just chips with ketchup on, none of the actual toppings listed. Nothing was right? Can't seem to get a refund?Can't comment on service as I ordered delivery.

The Karak chai is perfect here. I tried the samosa chaat, chicken tikka pasty and masala chips. Food was great, especially the chicken pasty! Staff was friendly!

This Chaiiwala never disappoints :) We usually order for delivery and have started coming in person every so often and couldn't fault it. Tasty food, friendly staff and clean premises. I believe we were served by Mehbooba today and she was friendly, patient and helpful! Food was great as usual, we had a desi breakfast and mumbai mac and cheese.

Food isn’t great. Ordered the wrap pictured. Like chewing rubber. Had half, other went in bin. Thats money wasted. Isn’t much than 3/4” diametre. Not worth the money.The single piece of meat must have been microwaved or something as was really hard.Overall bad experience. Will the person who replies to these reviews please do something about this. They normally ask for all details so ive attached the receipt also.

Unfortunately, this branch really needs to sort themselves out!Came yesterday afternoon and it was amidst their peak hours from what I could see; only a couple tables in store but the take away service was rampant.Walked in and one guy appeared to be waiting for his samosas he ordered and ultimately walked out, which he then cancelled via Deliveroo (you could hear the whole conversation!). Cancelled because it took too long!We ordered 8 drinks - ended up waiting for about 15 - 20 minutes, just for drinks! To add further insult to injury, when we got home we realised we were one drink short! I just didn't have the patience to turn back and face the drama or maddness in that store again.Ultimately, it was because only TWO people were running the store. One girl was taking all the orders and making the drinks (she did very well) and one guy kept disappearing into nowhere, assuming it was the kitchen. Nonetheless, he should've helped the girl make the drinks, she was under pressure and that caused her to mess up our drinks order (missing drink).The whole experience was just appalling; you really need to employ MORE STAFF, otherwise customers will not return so quickly.

It’s not the first time me and my family have been here and this time starting with the reception as me and my wife was very disappointed with staff as they don’t clarify the price breakdown when you order, like for example, we ordered a Desi breakfast and with that comes an omelette. Now the omelette is a plain omelette and they asked what did we want on the omelette and so they gave us a few options like tomato, cheese and onion…issue is though, they don’t tell you that it is an extra charge and how much it would be and every topping has a cost. I can understand that but it would be nice if they tell the customer as someone not knowing how these things work would be scared or embarrassed to say something or ask them why there is extra charges on their bill.But the reason why I give them 1 star is because the food was not up to standard as the parata was burned and when we told the staff, they did change it but then the sausage that comes with the breakfast was also burned and rock hard. Now I could have said can you change that also but my question is, how do they let that come out like that? Should they not be checking the food before giving it to the customer? After all, how many items would I be changing?They also don’t tell you that the tea doesn’t come with the breakfast like most places do and they charge extra for it, so to say I can recommend will be far from it. If anyone does go, you need to be aware of these things as they won’t tell you and someone on a budget might struggle. The place is otherwise looks nice and comfortable.
