What a wonderful display from the Yarn Faroese who decorated the church yard with displays of crocheted poppies. Well worth a visit

We were there for my father's funeral in may this year 2019. The priest was totally respectful yet in full charge of the proceedings. The church itself is a beautiful old building, not sure of the year, but well worth a visit, especially if you wish to attend a service there. You don't have to be in church to find God, but it can help. One issue, the parking is not great. To finish, I felt at home there, and welcome, in spite of the sad occasion.

Very interesting, lovely ladies, told us about the bombing of the Chapel in second world war, killing the Sunday school children, and teachers, very sad.

BOMBED" by enemy planes during WWII with tragic loss of young peoples lives. Another enemy plane hit the neighbouring church spire and crashed into a nearby street. Enemy aircraft would fly low
