Such a shame chicken george is the best chicken in town but this place is so disgustingly filthy inside I will never go back!! It was 3rd Jan 2019!! And that floor, the walls, tables,or chairs, have not been washed in my experience months!!(Probably since it opened)If this business closes down it will be due to lack of trade due to cleanliness. SHAME ON YOU! DIRTY BOYS,CLEAN YOUR FOOD PREMISES!!!WE MIGHT COME BACK!!!!Can not actually believe I never took a photo.

Lovely place on Holderness Road. Clean. Tidy. Great staff who cannot do enough for you. I live on Vicky Dock so trust me I can go anywhere for food if I like. And I like this place. Great offers too great takeaway food!!! Hope it reopens after the refurb" the manager spoke of."

I love chicken George normally and never have a problem but for the staff to leave me standing there over 10 minutes to get served for them to allow someone who came in after me to get served first is a joke. First come first serve is the general rule in business I believe!

Had a few meals here today to test the taste of the food available. Took a while to get served once made the order. Around 5-10mins. But the food was hot and quite nice. Would recommend to anyone who is local at the time to visit for a quick bite.

Quality of food better than other more famous chicken outlets . Street parking . Toilets . Clean eat in or take out . Used it a few times now instead of KFC . Chips with meal are far better . The coleslaw is fresh and tasty. Try it for yourself .

We just had an order from here and I have to say I regret it.We only got 3pc chicken and chips and 2 milkshakes.First time users of chicken George. The chicken tasted off and had a rubbery texture. The chips where hollow and seemed like they had been fried multiple times in order to heat them up. The milkshakes we got tasted like they should but where only a 3rd of the way filled, another 3rd was foam the rest was squirty cream.If I could give less then 1 star I would.

Brilliant place if you are looking to get salmonella food poisoning from under cooked, pink spicy chicken wings.... unfortunately we werent too interested in that though so this definitely ruined the venu for me. If I was you I would avoid this place like the plague. no establishment who specialises in the sale of chicken should fail at such a fundamental element of health & safety.

Got our order wrong and then when we rang up tried to say that we got what we ordered. They hen had to check the bill and it turns out we didn’t get what we ordered. Rather than asking them to send out the delivery guy for a few missed chicken pieces that we paid for! We accepted their offer that we would get it with our next order. When we went to claim this, the guy we spoke to said he was the ‘new owner’.Very disappointed with this service and I don’t believe for a second that chicken George has a new owner working in the shop on Holderness Road.

Been to Chicken George a couple of times now, have to say that the food was delicious both times. Didn't realise they have more than chicken, e.g. Beef Burgers (never had a beef burger with a hash brown on before!). The food is served pretty quickly and arrives hot and stays hot while you're eating. Chips for example stay warm long enough to eat them warm. The portions are quite big and I think overall for a meal reasonably priced. The wrap I had today was actually huge and very tasty.

A lot more than just fried chicken and wraps. They have many different burgers, pizza, deserts and children menu. Staff is very friendly and helpful when you have questions about the food. They also have vegetarian options, like burger and pizza. The food is delicious and the prises are very reasonable.
