Cedar Road Play Park

This play park was set-up in the 1970/80s during Leicester City Council's extensive urban regeneration scheme for the Highfields area of the City of Leicester.It is located in an area bounded by Cedar Road and Evington Place in Leicester. Mature trees surround two sides of it. It comprises three parts - a grassed area, an area with a lot of children's play equipment and a walled and netted football/basketball hard surface pitch.It is open 24 hours a day as it is illuminated at night by the local streetlights.
