The staff were a life saver for me during the pandemic, providing free healthy fruit and veg and taking into consideration dietary needs and calling to check how you're doing, they delivered during the pandemic and went above and beyond. I I have to say sometimes it was tiring to keep explaining my situation to prove a continued need for help which I understand logistically but it personally made me feel quite depressed, exhausted and like I wasn't being trusted, so I stopped asking for help and went to another food bank that asked less intensive questions but overall I am so grateful to the Matthew tree project and all that you do! Thank you so much:)

I was referred by a friend and I found the project extremely helpful, as am unable to get there by myself I have not been able to make it every week which I would like... the people running it are really lovely and food is excellent and you get fresh vegetables...I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling.
