Mucky Paws
We have used Mucky Paws for many years for short and long stays - it is our dog’s home from home. All the staff know her and she is always pleased to see them! Facilities are new and clean with the dogs enjoying twice daily walks and the run of a large pen when the weather is suitable. She is always healthy and happy after her “holidays”. Thanks to all at Mucky Paws.

I have always found Mucky Paws to be a brilliant place for Cats and Dogs alike. The animals are cared for as if their own, the staff and friendly and helpful, the kennels and Cattery are kept very clean including the outside areas. I was able to look around the kennels before my dog was left and I was very happy with the space available and the way the kennels were run. ‘Animals first and foremost’ and I believed that’s the service I paid for, the cost was made perfectly clear both at the kennels and on the website. Highly recommended to anyone needing kennels or cattery services.

Our Dog, Izzy, absolutely loves going here on her holidays. As soon as we turn off the A661 towards Mucky Paws she gets so excited. Once there she cannot wait to see all the friends she's made there over the years. She always enjoys herself and from what we can see and have been told, the staff love having her there as she's such a happy little dog that just loves life". We have recommended Mucky Paws to family and friends & our son used them for the first time this October. He has told us that he will not be letting his dog

We boarded our cat here at short notice whilst we moved house, and was able to extend her stay for a few days until essential work was completed. The purpose built cattery is lovely and the staff are really friendly. Our cat seemed to be quite settled and we would happily board her here again. Thank you to all.

The young blonde lad didn't handle the dogs in a nice and humane way when retrieving them from the outside play pens. When I asked him why he was doing it, he answered saying that It's how I get them to do my bidding". I wouldn't trust him with my dog. Also when I dropped my dog off this morning

My dogs never want to leave when I pick them up. I think Mucky Paws must look after them so well. The staff are amazing. So helpful and seem to know my dogs personally which makes me feel less stressed. I love that I can drop them off or pick them up in the mornings or afternoons. The prices are so reasonable too. I can definitely recommend them. My friend uses them for his cat too and is equally happy with the service.

Our dog is usually quite nervous with new people and places, but came back happy and healthy after a week at Mucky Paws, clearly having made friends with the people there. The staff were super friendly, professional and organised (even washed the bedsheets for us), and I can say that this is the best kennel we have tried around Harrogate!

Our dog didn't do well when it stayed the weekend. He looked like he hadn't slept and had bite marks which they had treated but didn't advise us.Facilities themselves were fine and everything appeared to be secure.If you have a dog that likes barking it will like this place.

My two dogs Poppy and Bear came home happy after a nights stay. The staff were very friendly and reassuring. I loved the fact that they were taken for a walk as soon as we dropped them off as I know that would help them both settle before going into the kennel.
