Popped in Herris rd, loxley Saturday dinner as I was in the area.Omg, what a different experience it was compared to my local shop at woodseats.The staff were pleasent , polite and happy. I wanted 4 pork sandwiches all different. And buns and sausage rolls.The only talking the two assistants did to each other was regarding my order and not" about their own lives to each other as the woodseats staff do.The service was A*.All the sandwiches looked and tasted fab

Vanilla slice I cut in half before eating ,, found something blackish green in 3 places baked into to pastry. Egg custard pastry not cook properly. Was told I did not buy these from Beres.... could be Lillys....OMG. At once, I took them back in their bags and asked to check the till.. paid by card, ...where as too I got a near full refund. They said its the way its cut in half that they thought it wasnt theirs.?????Shameful. Its telling me , cleaning and baking is not up to standard anymore.

Béres is very much a place that everyone in Sheffield has been too. As the pork sandwiches are surprisingly big for what you pay for. You also have the option to have the full trimmings on your sandwich such as Apple sauce, crackling, stuffing and having your bread bun dipped in gravy.

I have not been for a while due to virus, had to call at DIY shop with my daughter & son & noticed Be’res open so decided to treat us,And what a treat it was,a pork sandwich that tasted Soo good i wish i had bought 2.Just the right amount of apple sauce, crackling & stuffing.It was pure heavenThe staff ate friendly & efficient & the shop is always clean.Thank you xxx

The staff in here are always unfriendly, but I go back because the pork sandwiches are really good. Not today. The crackling isn't crackling, it's just chewy pork rind. I won't be going back if they can't even maintain their standards

My partner and I drive all the way from Bakewell. We found the Staff unfriendly..miserable and with attitude.. too much trouble to warm a Sausage roll up and thrle Pork was thin and pink and tasteless.. .. Not how it used to be.. won't be calling again..

Called in for a ham sandwich and a sausage roll at Crookes branch.Very disappointed, air conditioning unit running at full pelt, it was that hot inside the shop the heat hit you as I walked in, all I could hear was a member of staff saying to everyone that came in can you close the door.The door was fitted with a self closer. The bread was very dry and I ate the warm ham out of the middle of the sandwich and had to throw bread away.I also ended up peeling the pastry from around the sausage roll because it was hard and dry.I felt very uncomfortable being on the premises in so much heat which can breed bacteria, leading to covid and other ailments.Never had this problem at other branches, it may be winter out there but the staff are ruining your produce.

You will not find a better pork sandwich anywhere in yorkshire!!! The absolute best of the best. I come here at least once a week and it never disappoints, only gets better. Every time. The staff are an absolute joy and a pleasure to order with, they are polite respectful and always cater to your needs. Their jam tarts and lemon cakes are delicious and i would highly recommend. The pork dripping is sublime too. Only thing i would complain about is 2 pound for a bottle of oasis.
