Gairloch Canoe and Kayak Centre
Can't recommend Cory enough. He was happy to go as fast or more accurately slow as we wanted. No big groups here, it was just us two and Cory. A great afternoon exploring around the Loch with lots of interesting info from Cory about the area, history, wildlife etc. Very helpful and patient with us two oldies. If you are wary of trying kayaking, fear not, you are in safe hands here, and you will love it.

We had a great time kayaking with our guides - Gareth and Fraser, they were both fun and informative. The seals jumping around and playing near us was a highlight! I Highly recommend a trip, it’s so peaceful and calming out in the clear waters.

Gairloch Canoe and Kayak Centre
An excellent afternoon sea kayaking in Loch Shieldaig. Saw many grey seals, some of whom came right up close to check us out, and quite a lot of bird life. Gareth was a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, very patient with those of us who were beginners. He even had us sampling the seaweed (quite tasty). It was a calm day, which helped us get the hang of the kayaking pretty well. Highly recommended.

We were new to kayaking and had a great time trying it out! Our instructor Colin was professional and entertaining, and made sure to keep us safe in the changing weather conditions. We saw plenty of wildlife along the way, including seals chilling on the rocks. Would highly recommend!

Was a good afternoon out. We saw loads of wildlife and a baby seal followed us for most of our time on the water. Excursion leader was good and knowledgeable....only downside was there was a couple who clearly had never kayaked before and were useless. So we didn't get as far as intended but was still a good aft out.

We had a fantastic morning kayak with Cory. The scenery was stunning and we saw lots of wildlife, including some lovely curious seals. Cory was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure that all of the group were happy and comfortable at all times (when my mum got a little tired, Cory towed her along). I would recommend without hesitation!

Gairloch Canoe and Kayak Centre
Went here last summer (only now just got round to writing review lol) and we had an excellent time.Beautiful location, nearby scenery is unreal and an old manor/hotel thing with a wee bar in it and nice grounds.Kayaking itself was a blast, good length, nice and very enthusiastic guides. We learned lot about the local area and you kayak round different islands and bays.If you’re looking to kayak on the north west coast, I’d very much recommend this place!
