£9 to park for just over two hours. Daylight robbery, especially when we are in a cost of living crisis. Shameful.

Cedars is the multi-story car park at Musgrove Park Hospital. The spaces are a decent size and I've never had trouble finding a space. Parking is expensive and you don't have a choice as all the local roads are restricted to residents only. Pro tip - pay at the car park office at the front of the hospital or at one of the other machines to avoid the queues at the multi-story at peak times.

The car park is a fixed tariff throughout the week, which is disappointing when the Taunton Park & Ride service doesn't run on a weekend. The tariff rates were (up to);1hour £1.602hours £4.104hours £6.6024hours £10.70Lost tickers are charged at 24hour rate.It is acceptable for a visitor to have this type of payment scheme as they are incharge of the amount of time they spend.I don't however believe this is fair for a patient as any delay to their appointment time (outside their control) would result in them being charged more. Perhaps a better method would be for patients to get their parking voucher validated on arrival and departure of their clinic.

NHS Car Parking should be free, especially for disabled blue badge holders. No staff visable. Disabled bays not found. Exhorbitant Charges.

£14.60 for just over 4 hours parking, absolutely disgusting, a tax on the sick. Full day charge after 4 hours, disgraceful, Qpark and the Trust should be ashamed of themselves.

It's ok, parking is hard to find, especially now they've taken extra stores away for staff parking only.Prices at this car park are higher than every other hospital in the area but you have no choice as no other parking.

BEWARE HIDDEN CHARGE OF £10.20 FOR LOST TICKETI recently arrived for a short visit to see a friend who had had a stroke. I was not in a calm, settled place. As is often the case I had to wait some time to get into the lower level car park. Many people are obliged to use this one as the walk from the multi storey is not easy if you are not fully fit.Having taken my ticket I found that there was not a parking space. I have found this before, and also waited for a ticket, as the gate won't issue a ticket if the car park is full, whilst being able to see one or two free spaces. Very frustrating in both circumstances. On this occasion I explored the whole park and waited, watching for someone to return to their car, having got out of mine. I think this must have been when the ticket went missing.I parked and searched to no avail. I went to the Q Park office, needing to ask where it was at Outpatient reception. Queued again. I expected to pay a bit more than 1hr stay for having to have another ticket issued, but was told that I would have to pay £10.20 for a ticket. I saw no notices warning of this punitive cost. I think it is indefensible that people, who are most likely stressed and/or upset should be penalised without warning when there is no alternative.I have complained to Q Park, who sent an automated response to say they reply in 48 hrs. That is over a week ago. No response after the automated one. I asked that at the very least a clear, large notice at the ticket machine should warn people as they take their tickets. I wait to see.

I had a really great experience yesterday, the kind that restores your faith in humanity! David Dezille was on shift at the QPark and I was stuck in one of the spaces unable to start the car due to a flat battery. He noted my distress and came to my rescue valiantly and restarted my car. He was extremely kind and professional and it was such a nice experience. All too often these days we don't see our fellow man go out of their way to help, but David is an exception, he goes above and beyond! What a legend. Managed to go surfing in North Devon on my day off thanks to him, rather than spending hours waiting for the AA.Thank you David!
