Can't fault our stay at all.Clean, comfortable and well run. It doesn't stand out in amongst other places we stayed during the Hadrian's Wall walk but that is not a bad thing at all.We had everything we need for a decent sleep (although the room could be darker - curtains needed!).

Great place to stay, very friendly owner, spotlessly clean,nice breakfast, a little road traffic in my front room and only 3 parking spaces, so get here early to park up, as there area has zoned disc parking.But I would highly recommend staying here

Spacious comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Well located for town centre and for driving out of the city to further afield. Onsight parking rather tight and tricky especially if you have a long car. Bathroom rather small but functional with effective shower

I was absolutely amazed at how good this B&B was. The room that I had was great and very clean and wonderfully presented. The host was very welcoming, a lovely woman. I throughly enjoyed my breakfast and there was loads to eat. I was recommended this B&B over some if the local hotels and it will be my first port of call o my next visit to Carlose. Thank you Abberley House

Very comfy bed and but the breakfast wasn't big enough for the pricing. Only 1 towel in a family room so only one of us showered before heading home. Pretty poor by thay standard.

B & B room was OK but no bedside table or lamp for one of us. Our room did have 2 chairs but all very cramped and en suite quite out of date and in need of upgrade. Very noisy main road right outside our room. No packed lunch available sadly. Breakfast was good and there is a small car park at front and limited on road parking. Staff were OK.

Room 2 very clean although i couldnt move around much I had to move like a crab to get into bed , it would be better suited as a single room not a double. Not the most welcoming place I've stayed in.The parking was non existent , as one the guests long wheel based van was blocking the entrance/exit. I personally won't be returning . It was a means to an end.

only stayed for the one night but wow i was so impressed! nothing bad to say at all. for one, as a solo female traveller i couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable and safe which is no.1 for me. room was lovely and cosy, bed was super comfy, service fantastic! even got my own specific breakfast order taken for the morning :) if i ever find myself in carlisle again i know where i’m staying! thanks again!
