Old China Takeaway

Where do I start. Firstly, I pre-booked an order at 2:30, for 6:00pm. It was over an hour late. The had to call 3 times, and spoke to the same unhelpful women on the phone 3 different times, telling me that my order was 5 minutes away. Then the driver did not have a clue where he was going, and by the time he got to my door the food was stone cold. Finally after all that hassle. I dished all the dinner up and was ready to eat, I cut into my chicken wings, to find it pink, RAW. My partners sweet and sour chicken balls were also raw. I called them back up to make a complaint and find a way to resolve the issue. The lady on the phone was rude, but worst of all. Tried to tell me that the pinkness in the chicken was safe to eat and that’s how they cook it. Absolutely bonkers. Ended up getting a refund after a whole argument about the order. Please stay away, waste of your time and money, let alone your health.

I've ordered Beef Szechuan as i wanted to try re-opening of this Chinese Takeaway, with totally new owners and chef. Totally refreshed interior looking nice and tidy. Beef was really aromatic and vegetables was super fresh. Flavors and spiciness was exactly fiting my taste. I hope this takeaway will stay on this level as i really can recommend it and i'll be comming back regulary.

Absolutely disgusting food, I would guess something in the meal was off, terrible taste and aftertaste, never again. Dread to think what goes on in that kitchen

Literally just picked up chips and curry sauce, impromptu purchase as was in the area, I've not been here for over 6yrs, (they no longer serve chip shop chips), that's ok though... as we already had chicken cooked at home, we just ordered something to go with.Anyway the curry sauce, poured like water, it was either too thin or watered down curry sauce full of oil on the top! The chips were dry and over cooked.... all for a fiver... I always wonder why people serve food like this to customers, I hope they don't think we will actually consume it, honestly.... sorry to say presentation is key, yes I expected freshly cooked chips and a nice curry sauce of which you normally find in this area.That's sealed the deal of not going again, I assume this is what they were after... perhaps food standards should pay a visit as those chips sat for longer than they should and should not have been served.Gifford Park Old China Takeaway, Saturday 12th August 2023 - around 18:00.The lady on front desk, did seem nice... but hey...

Ordered a chicken chow mein. NEVER again! This ‘meal’ was returned to Old China. A very rude woman on the phone Saturday 29/9/23. The chicken pieces pictured were rock solid slithers of meat. Literally dried up like they were 3 days old and that was after they came out the noodle box! I have a video of them making the sound of a rock hitting the deck when dropped on the plate and one of my cat trying so hard to eat one I thought she would break her teeth! Called up to arrange a return and another. Customer service was abysmal. No goodbye, just hung up on me after being rude. £6.50 for dried up scraps and some very dry noodles bulked out by huge chunks of onion. Never again.

This shop is our family's favorite, every time the food is delivered on time, and the food is very good every time, I feel very lucky to have such delicious food in MK

Food is consistent quality, staff very polite, customer service is excellent. Got a set meal for 2. There was plenty!!

Decided to have takeaway and asked for menu. We sat outside and once we had decided what we would like went in to order we were very surprised to be told that our bill was £5 more???? They were giving out old menus and did not have the menus with the new prices. Asked to speak to Manager but no one available. Can't comment on the food as we didn't order any.
