Visited a few months ago was struggling with my feet has I have plantar fasciitis the chap in the footwear department really knew his stuff recommended orthosole which put the soles I had made from my hospital to shame also recommended the best boots for my application been back since and bought more same chap is there with the same dedication credit to arco

I bought safety shoes here and the staff were very helpful with advice on different types of safety shoes.The Puma trainers have been great as my feet are not throbbing any more after working all day.

ARCOGreat New set up at new store, long standing customer.Got looked after very well last year in xmas Sales so have been back for new boots today and got nearly 10% discount almost automatically.When I need some more quality safety work kit ,I know where to go first.Thank you Arco

Outstanding customer service. A guy called Brian helped me source a lady's high viz coat. He went above and beyond to source as they had limited stock in branch. Brain kept me informed the whole time with regular call's. As my company pays for our PPE he arranged the payment between our office. He is a lovely guy well mannered he even gave me 2 sweet's winner. We need more Brian's in the world. Thank you.

Went in to buy a pair of work boots. The counter staff were pleasant and said hello. I then went to the boot department where I was ignored for 30mins. The store assistant was so concerned with serving two other gents that he did not bother to even say Sorry I will only be a minute". Then a man that arrived after me push in and got served and his issues dealt with and there was still no recognition from store assistant even though I had 3 pairs of boots in my hand I was waiting to try on. Shameful service. I put the boots back and on the way out the woman behind the counter asked if she could help but after half an hour enough was enough."

Five star disappointed today. I called in to Arco to complain about a pair of safety shoes that I had bought, 11th of April this year, 2023. Just over 5 weeks wear. They cost around £65. In that time I've had a ten day holiday. So I have worn these shoes for around 20 work days only. They now have prematurely worn heels. I suspect, due to an irregularity in the rubber compound that was used to mould the sole. They are Arco own brand safety shoes. I paid cash. I didn't keep the receipt or the box they came in. I wouldn't expect to have any concerns.I called in today to get advice. I knew that without a receipt I had little chance of a refund but that wasn't my concern. I'm more interested in Arco not taking any concerns about the shoe. I had the feeling that I was given a scripted answer, probably, in my opinion, due to a known issue with this type of safety shoe. I was asked to phone technical support......Lines are busy....Lines are busy....Lines are busy. I will update this review with more info as I get it. Ideally Arco will replace my shoes or allow me to swap for an alternative.Update 23/05/23Amazing phone team on Arco complaints. Genuine and courteous. Helping all they can by asking for shoe codes under the tongue of the shoe. Said it could be possible that this case will be unresolved ?? One more star awarded.Update: 25 May 23Here is the response. Know that I drive an articulated lorry so I am mostly sat driving for at least half of my working day. I hope it helps people to decide if they want to do business with Arco. I have had my experience and can honestly not recommend them for this particular style of footwear. Remember that this level of wear and tear took just 20x12 hour shifts.Arco ResponseI've received a response from our Footwear Specialists and, unfortunately, from the images you provided, they have deemed the fault with your shoes as wear and tear which is not covered by the manufacturers guarantee. The colleague who came back to me went into extreme detail as to how this can be determined and potential scenarios of how this likely issue can be caused citing From the images you can see the direction of the abrasion marks". Without knowing your exact working conditions it is speculatory but covers examples of when the damage to your shoes can occur.I'm ever so sorry that I'm unable to assist you any further with this and that this isn't the outcome you were hoping for. I do appreciate you taking the time to raise your concerns with this particular product as it's certainly best to make us aware of any concerns you may have just in case there had been any others raised over this shoes integrity.If you did decide to revisit Arco in the future

Needed an item urgently and was promised next day delivery before 1pm (after paying a significant surcharge). Item did not arrive, no confirmation email was sent but ive still been charged. Now I need to spend my sunday searching for a shop which is open and stocks my item.

Never recomended the place as they have bad policy refynd, bought safety shoes and hurt my foot, went back to refund they refuse as you wear it outside,,Don't waste your money guysAnd i hope one of managment read my comment

Bought some snickers work pants and zip broke in first month staff and manager on Saturday 18th may extremely rude and unhelpful they said paint zip no warranty and go and pay to get it fixed . I paid over £80 for the work pants absolute joke.
