Total Dental Care Folkestone

My son and I have been coming here for years. It was pretty good but over the years we had to wait longer for an appointment and now they have no nhs dentists available for us. So we have to try and find a new dentist out of folkestone. As far as Ashford etc.

I phoned this practice on Monday morning to see if they could fit me in as I am down here visiting and needed treatment. The lady that I spoke to was so kind and very helpful. They managed to fit me in today (Tuesday). I explained that I am a very nervous patient and I could hypherventilate. The Dentist and his assistant made me feel calm. He explained the options of treatment to me. I came away feeling better and very happy with my treatment. I wished all Dentists had the same caring and understanding nature to what people like me go through each time we visit the dentist. I have no hesitation in recommending to all. Thank you very much for your help today. Outstanding, if I could give a higher rate it would be 10/10

Been at this dentist for years I went in to to check on an appointment in December,only to be told my appointment had been cancelled and my dentist has now gone fully private, nobody bothered to email or let me know this had happened, they said they are recruiting but I have to phone every 2/3 months to check,but it is only on a first come first served basis,my appointment was for something specific, apparently that doesn't count.I wonder when they read this if they will but me even further back on being able to see a dentist.next move will be local MP.

I came to see Subha and her nurse Emma today and they made me feel at ease being a nervous patient. Thank you.Also the reception team were lovely. Receptionist Emma was very helpful and gave me all the information I need regarding my referral. Very professional and I would highly recommend.

As an extremely nervous patient all the staff have been so lovely in helping me with the start of my treatment. Having my surgery in a few weeks so am looking forward to it being all done but am so grateful for the kindness being shown to me so far.

I can’t recommend Total dental care enough from all the wonderful encouraging, friendly, helpful reception team to the dentist himself Mr Bilal Ansari and his nurse who I’ve seen the past couple of months. I’ve been petrified of the dentist since I was a child after having a traumatic tooth extraction which was then repeated several years ago I was terrified about going but being met with a friendly face at the door, who was met by me sobbing! put me at ease straight away and by Bilal taking his time explaining my treatment plan every step with his kind manner made all the difference. It was first thought I may need root canal but when the tooth was cleaned out he explained he didn’t feel the need to do this and changed the plan accordingly, my crown has been fitted without any problems and I feel confident about future visits. Thank you it’s a huge weight lifted

A pathetic service very poor customer care. NHS service was withdrawn and have not received any care for more than 2 years. This company is run solely for money and nothing else. Very very poor customer care and poor service

I used to attend this dental practice for a few years pre pandemic & was always satisfied with the service, my last visit was around Feb 2020 just before every where shut in March 2020.I had no communication from them since & only realised I was de registered when I asked today, receptionist who dealt with me was curt & abruptly said I was deregistered & they are not taking in any more NHS patients.When all businesses were reopening after lockdown, why didn’t they contact me reminding me of my follow up check up. I now have a painful tooth & no dentist to turn to.

Had an appointment a couple of weeks ago! The nurse Emma made me feel at ease and my nerves disappear, the dentist subha was fantastic and answered all my questions!! Great team work girls!!

Everyone who works here is nice but the communication and service was incredibly poor.I was initially referred for a root canal under sedation to a different dentist. But when I rang that other dentist, they had no record of the referral. I rang Total Dental Care who said actually they're not sure whether sedation for a root canal exists (why suggest it then?) and now they think I might need one extracted. Why did I have to ring them up to get that information? They assured me I had been referred to a new dentist now for sedation for extraction.I rang the new dentists and guess what? Again I haven't been referred. Three weeks later, Total Dental Care receptionist got in touch and said they've finally got round to referring me to new dentist. Now I've been referred for two extractions? The dentist's opinion has shifted from root canal to one extraction to two extractions. He seems so uncertain and didn't make any contact to explain any of this.Very unprofessional. Would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
