Dry Cleaners & Tailoring

Our daughter's coat needed repair and cleaning. The guy assured us it would be done well. We called on them because of the many excellent reviews. We picked up the coat today and as many many others, they have not disappointed. Really appreciate it guys. Will be back. Great to find businesses that care to do a good job.

I visited this shop on November 15th, and I chose it because of multiple good reviews. And they did a good job in tailoring and cleaning, thank you for that, but check their previous bad reviews and notice that most of them are regarding the unfair prices.I brought a dress for a small button, dry cleaning, and very minor tailoring. When I asked about the price, the receptionist put it into the calculator, hid it from me, and then showed it to a guy (manager?). I immediately sensed that something was weird - he then asked for £70!!! Come on, the dress is worth £65 on its own. That didn't make sense at all.I was about to take the dress with me, take out all of their measurements from my dress, and leave the store when he started bargaining and asking me what price I was willing to pay. So we finally 'agreed' on £50, even though I am certain I could have found a cheaper option.But can I ask one thing? Why do I need to be on guard when I walk into a tailor SHOP because the front desk is trying to fraud me and steal my money? It's NOT some kind of market in Turkey or Egypt, so why is it so difficult to be honest with a REAL price? And I know he'll say it was an expensive dress" that needed to be cleaned separately

Shoe Repair - I had my shoes repaired here. They were brand new but because of the leather soles after 2-3 wears, they had completely eroded. I was pleasantly surprised that they had completely repaired them, made it look seem less and matched the heals too. Very pleased I can now wear my shoes without bits crumbling off the bottom and leaving a hole. Happy customer.
