Grass looks good. But customer service is dire.... continued to be chased for [insert any figure here], even though I am up to date.Have emailed -no replyHave called -constantly on holdRecommended alternative anyone?

I totally agree with the earlier comment. I too have been a satisfied customer for over 20 years. I always mark on my calendar when the next treatment is due so that I can leave the gate unlocked, but since the takeover I have been let down on the last four occasions the most recent being a no show" on 3 October. I feel too frustrated to ring and hear more excuses yet again so am currently browsing alternative companies!"

Service has deteriorated since change of management.

I have been a happy customer of Greenthumb (Borrowash) Derby for over 15 years. There has been a change in management / franchisee and now the service is utterly abysmal. My spring feed was a month late. The summer feed was scheduled for June 22 .... this did not happen with no notification. It was rescheduled for July 13. One week beforehand I was unable to contact them so left a voicemail requesting a reply and stating that my lawn was in the worst condition I have ever seen at this time of year. No reply was received. Again today, July 13, they did not visit and did not tell me. On ringing them afterwards I was told it was only it was only a proposed date which they found could not meet. Whilst I have no intention of ever using them gain it appeared that they could not offer a revised date. The lady I spoke to was apologetic but I am afraid I am appalled at the lack of service. They deserve no custom and clearly are not fit to run the business. I should also mention I have left the garden gate to my property open on both occasions which, given they had no intention of visiting, was unnecessary and potentially allowed access to my rear garden and sheds.

Tried to join and arrange spring treatment and left numerus messages for Green Thumb to call back--no calls after 3 weeks!! very poor service!

Communication with this company is awful. Emails and texts go unanswered. Instructions are ignored. Having used GreenThumb in Nottingham for twenty years without complaint, this branch bears no resemblance to the service I received there. Very disappointing. Having said that, if you do manage to speak to someone, they are polite.
