Was let down for quite a large order recently. Did a 50 mile round trip to collect only to find the bakery hadn't delivered the order to the point of sale despite placing it over the phone well in advance. Was always happy to support Small Businesses and Farm Shops etc, even if it meant paying retail prices to support both the Manufacturer and the retail outlet, but loyalty works both ways and I can't afford to waste expensive diesel and my time on making fruitless journeys into another County for orders that aren't honoured. In future we'll just order our morning goods requirements frozen from the wholesaler.

Cherry and raisin stone cake are just bread and totally tasteless. I counted 5 raisins and 2 cherries. Total waste of money.

The bakewell is amazing. However the service was really slow they had 3 people on tills yet all three were serving a single customer. Also would have loved a smile. But again the Bakewell itself is amazing would just come for that

Small eating area but while we were there no-one was turned away.Staff are wonderful and great with kids and food was amazing.Well worth a visit

The Bakewell tart pastry is very very salty so much so we couldn’t eat them, we bought two from chatsworth farm shop a couple of weeks ago and phoned the farm shop to complain but they weren’t interested so we phoned and emailed the bakewell bakery again they didn’t seem to bothered and have not replied to our email !! I didn’t want a refund I just wanted to inform them that there must have been a mistake in their production, very poor customer service, Not Happy
