One of the most dog-friendly places we’ve ever been to. Our dog played happily with 4 other dogs while we had a most delicious Sunday lunch. The red cabbage is to die for and I wish I’d asked them for the recipe!Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back!

Great tradition local pub with roaring log fires. Warm welcome from landlord. Good cider and beer on tap. Lovely home cooked food, including game and other seasonal dishes.Kitchen had closed following lunch service today but new chef obligingly cooked for a group of late arrivals. Wonderful hospitality.
