The team at RSD Tool Hire Ltd are always extremely helpful. I have taken our petrol lawn mower here for the last few years, and find the quality of the service to be excellent, at a reasonable price (especially considering the age of the mower). As it has sentimental value, the guys have always done their best to source parts, which I'm really thankful

Very expensive tuning. Went in with 3 engines needing tuning. The lawnmower retune quote was for £120. A new one costs £160! Had the other two engines tuned for over £60 each. When asked what was done, the reply for both engines was to replace the fuel with a lower mixture ratio than in the operating Manual, then adjust two screws on one carburetor and one screw on another. + 2 spark plugs. One begins to wonder what the hourly rate is for this labour?... My guess would be £120 per hour. Obviously they keep a shop open, so overheads yes. But surely a little on the expensive side. I think I had better invest in a screw driver and some fresh petrol and a couple of spark plugs next time.

Sad when a Loyal customer is ripped off so lawnmower maintenance won’t be done here anymore. Charged £49 for hour labour to change a cover and a belt. The job is 3-4 bolts which takes no longer than 10mins, belt is placed on, blade is removed and cover put on them blade bolt back. Told we have to charge by hour and wouldn’t even change my address on invoice when requested.Don’t overcharge your loyal customers just for being loyal.

Fixed my Mountfield mower under warranty. They told me that they were seeing a lead time up to four weeks for Mountfield parts, but the bit they needed they had on site anyway ! Good expectation management, and good explanation of the problem.
