Was recommended by my father in law to try,and really glad we did.I ordered an xl haddock,chips,curry and regular haddock,chips,mushy peas and breadcake for wife and can honestly say that will take some doing to get a better fish and chips than that,it was one of the best me and my wife have ever had!Thank you very much and will back again next week :)

THOMPSON'S Traditional Fish & Chips
It's hard to write an unbiased review because i have been to this Fish and chip shop so many times in the last two years. I suppose the biggest thing i could say would be that even though i don't work locally to the shop anymore we still make regular visits across the city just for the fish and chips.Staff are great, quality is great and the price is excellent value, can't say anymore then that.

Lovely food cooked fresh and to perfection. I had a fish fritter with chips and delicious fruity curry sauce. I couldn't believe the amount of fish fillet I got!(thick fillet, very tasty!) Will definitely buy it again! Staff are polite and friendly too! Very much recommended!

Definitely some of the best fish and chips I've had in years, used to go to another well known and quality chippy but will be coming here now, 10/10
