He came very promptly after our first call and then initially every day, even weekends, removing squirrels caught in his laid traps. I have a starling flying around in my loft space. Called for advice on a Sunday morning and much to my surprise got an answer from Jake. The advice I got was both friendly and helpful.If I can't get the bird into the house and out a window / door then I will be calling back to arrange a visit to see if anything else can be done.Thoroughly recommended.

I cannot recommend Jake highly enough. We have had a recurring issue for 3 years, which multiple pest control experts have failed to solve. It even got to the point where some companies refused to come and take a look when we explained it had been an ongoing issue, as they “didn’t want to fail”. Jake was recommended to us and came out the same day. On explaining the problems to him, he was immediately able to identify that we had squirrels living in a part of our roof that others had found hard to ascertain – his thorough knowledge of building construction helped immensely. Within a week, Jake had solved our 3 year problem and patched everything up so the squirrels don’t return. He went above and beyond to do a really exceptional job – having tried many of the pest services in Cambridge, we would recommend SK Ward in a heartbeat. We are immensely grateful for Jake’s professionalism, determination and thoughtfulness (and for giving us our sleep back!).

I spoke to Jake over the phone. He was very friendly and after a brief conversation describing the situation offered some excellent advice. Based on his prior experience we in fact came to the conclusion that services were in fact not needed, but that I could call back if the problem persists. Jake attended under his other company (Proofing Solutions) to fit bird proofing on our roof, and found a wasp nest during the install. He happily destroyed the nest at the time, via this pest control company. Great to have someone able to do both, and happy to just resolve issues quickly and easily!

I was extremely anxious on bringing bed bugs into my house following being in contact with them in an B&B, but Jake was so professional, asked all the important questions, given me all advice and even inspected the bugs I did find in the house over messages and reassured me completely. He did not offer services I did not need to gain profit. An absolute rare star in business and would recommend him anytime!

Jake has been helping us with a persistent bird mite infestation in our loft and has been an absolute gem of a find. Not only is he knowledgeable about pests, the chemicals involved, and the laws surrounding wild birds and bats, but he also has extensive construction and DIY knowledge. This means he can advise on the pest control measures from both a pest eradication/prevention AND from a building/dwelling side, and we would have been completely lost without his expertise. Brilliant service! We had a bird mite infestation and I was getting badly bitten. Jake was very understanding and came out the same day. Great service! Jake got back to me very quickly when I was in touch with him about the squirrels in our attic and has been really responsive and reliable at quickly dealing with any trapped squirrels each morning and evening. We have enjoyed our first peaceful nights for several months!
