Very helpful staff who know all about bikes. Purchased an e bike. They listened to requirements, gave great advice and made us feel very supported in this new venture including a free check in a few weeks to make sure everything is working and add any updates.

Lance and Sam at The Bikeshed were responsible for the excellent repair and rebuild of my beloved Bianchi, which even though purchased elsewhere, was treated as if had come from their shop floor- no qualms or quibbles.Excellent service, speedy and professional communication with Insurers and top drawer workshop facilities.Thanks very much all, hope you enjoy the ciders!

Great store...was cycling around the coast of England from Glasgow...reached Barnstaple and had an accident on some ice...the bike needed some very important repairs...but because I had spent my money on buying my trailer before the accident Paul heard my story and went above and beyond to make sure the bike was set to continue my trip...he really saved my bacon and made which should have been a bad time a great relief...the staff there are very friendly and helpful I can't recommend the place anymore...just a final thank you to Paul your help will be forever appreciated...thank you :)

These guys are fantastic. They've always been really friendly, willing to explain what they're doing and super efficient. Plus they don't charge the earth either. Phoned them this morning to say that one of my pedals had fallen off - within half an hour I had taken the bike in, they'd replaced the pedal and returned it to me. I highly recommended them.

I've bought a couple of bikes from The Bike Shed. I've always found the team to be very welcoming and full of good advice.Most recently I've needed to make a warranty claim. Keith took end to end ownership of the whole process, communicating directly with the manufacturer and enabling a swift resolution.When competition is high in the market great service is what makes companies like this stand out. Riding my MTB back from a morning ride from Crow Point , asked bike mechanic if he could have a look at my noisy seat post. Upon inspection found the post was jammed into the frame and he struggled to release the seat and post. He managed to remove the seat post and went ahead and greased the seat post. Fantastic service so I got him to replace the seat as it had just started to wear out at the front. Again he went through all the options of replacement seats, he also measured my seat bones for the correct size, all in all approximately 40 minutes, which had taken him away from the bike he was working on. We have used them before for our specialized MTB bikes and certainly will again in the future. Thank you for great service.
