Fitright Carpets

Update. The review below was in June/ July. I never did get any contact from the shabby shop and had to buy replacement carpet elsewhere. Take note of the bottom of Max's review about fake glowing reviews. Three is 2 weeks!! Strange they were in business long before mine and there was no reviews.........................................................Paid £575 cash for carpeting of 3 bedrooms: double, medium, to small, staircase and landing. This was supposed to all be laid same day but I had to wait for the grey to be ordered, so it took two visits over a week and I had to chase this 2nd visit. The grey carpet in smallest bedroom was lifted a few weeks later to have an electrician run a cable under floor boards. I discovered to my dismay that the carpet backing has a Stanley knife slash over 2 meters in a straight line. The slash was covered over with sellotape at right angles. The supplier or fitters in Fitright carpet shop are responsible, for what must have been a careless cutting/trimming mistake. The cut does not come through to the surface carpet fibres, so it's ready to erupt in the future as it's in the middle of the room from the door entrance.The shop at 127 County Road L4 has no prices on anything, this is when I should have walked back out, and is just 3 mins walk from my house. Despite phone calls and three visits speaking to Ian the 'manager of three such shops' no visit to check the fault or redress it over 10 days has occured. He says he will get the same fitter out who laid it with a slash to check it, but it's just a fob off.That will teach me a lesson; never use a shabby unpriced carpet shop in Liverpool or anywhere else. Unpriced product usually means a local price and non local price. The trainee on the day of my visit gave me one price per square yard, Ian later over rode this and told me a higher price.I come from southern England and quite likely have slashes in the other two bedroom and landing carpets. This is what you get using carpet bucket shops in L4.There are other shops that serve and deliver better, I suggest you use them instead.

Really rude I got junk mail from them I rang up and asked them to stop sending me junk mail and I got abused on the phone! I'm disabled and this is how they treating disabled people.They have no respect towards people with disabity if that's the case I can imagine how They treat non disabled people.Stay away I got in touch with trading standards and reported them for harassing me.BY THE WAY ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS ON THIS COMPANY ARE FAKE AND DONE BY SAME PERSON TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD.STAY AWAY READ ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THIS COMPANY FIRST BEFORE YOU SPEND ANY MONEY WITH THEM
