Barkwell Plumbing and Heating

When I had my boiler serviced by a third-party they discovered Barkwell had left a piece of cardboard protective packaging under the boiler main cover. A fire risk.Barkwell upon installing our utility room washing machine drain/trap didn't fit any of the rubber seals to the various u-bend connections. Resulting in a flooded downstairs floor.Do not use, Barkwell are incompetent at the least and at times dangerous.

Would not recommend, they installed a pressurised heating system incorrectly so the pipework completely missed the safety valve. Therefore excluding one of the main safety features, and potentially catastrophically dangerous.When I told them that a leak was caused they were not interested as they said the work was out of warranty (which shouldn’t matter given it was installed incorrectly and unsafe). I had to have a separate plumber redo the pipework, he was shocked at the incompetence of the installation.I asked Barkwell for comment and to contribute to the cost of fixing their bad installation and yet again they were not interested.Do not use.

Living in a newbuilt that you fitted all plumbing. Just run out of the 2 years developer's warranty so I have to pay myself (no problem about it) but you won't come to see the leak because you don't work directly with customers even if you fitted the house! Totally dissapointing...
