Fareham Garment Alteration Centre

I don’t normally like to leave negative reviews on someone’s business, but I feel that I was so disappointed with how unprofessionally this business was run (well in my experience anyway) that I just wanted to warn other customers. I must have visited and attempted to try and get a dress altered around four times, but to no avail. The Seamstress was either at lunch/on holiday/off sick (can’t be helped obviously) or just not there! The last time I tried, I was informed that she had just gone to lunch, so had actually walked past me with my dress in my hands and not bothered to give me the heads up! Not knowing this, I had to wait for 20 mins before this information was even passed on to me when it was quite obvious that was why I was there. (As I said. The dress was in my hand!) It was at this point that I got that they clearly did not want my business and I went elsewhere. Would not recommend given my experience.

Had some sleeves taken up on a Jacket. Excellent and professional service. Highly recommended

Had a new zip put in a waterproof jacket. Was done very well and I am happy with the result and the price.

I approached Fareham Garment Alteration Centre about some alterations to a pair of trousers, the alterations were a little complicated but their seamstress took it in her stride and she’s done an absolutely fantastic job and it wasn’t expensive in my opinion, great value and an amazing service provided. They took my number and text me when the job was completed, really friendly staff too. I’ll definitely use these guys again.

Wow - half the price but twice the quality! Very good value for money! No job too big or too small! I absolutely love using this company, they tailored a set of 'hip bags' to fit better, and sewed in my elastics on my ballet booties... They have also fixed numerous zips ... It might be half the price, but it's twice the quality! Thank you for your excellent service!
