ScS - Sofas, Flooring & Furniture

Recently visited the Oldham store, such a lovely, friendly team and all really helpful. Joanne, James and Cathy were amazing, as was the Store Manager who's name we didn't get. Highly recommended, very helpful and informative. La-Z-Boy sofas ordered and very excited, happy customers. Thanks to all the team working over the Christmas season x

What a shambles from start to finish. Ordered and paid for a carpet mid October was told carpet will be fitted by the end of October 4th November still no carpet. Went back to SCS to see what was happening they looked on computer and said your carpet should of been delivered on the 27th October has it was weekend there was nothing they could do till Monday. We will phone you on Monday with answers. No phone call so when I finished work I went back again they still didn't have a clue where my carpet was. Two days later got a phone call saying my carpet will be put in on the 14th. So on the 14th I empty my living Room ready only to receive another phone call saying the wrong size carpet had been sent and now they can't say if it will be fitted for Xmas. By this time i had had enough so I went back to SCS and asked for my money back. I then went to another carpet shop and got the same carpet £400 cheaper and fitted in two days. I will never use SCS again.

I got a very bad experience from the service in this store, the changed what they agreed with me. Customer service didn’t respond my concern for more than one week. They called me when they wants me to pay only.they cancelled my delivery after 3 weeks waiting because they didn’t sort my concern. Very bad customer service!!!!!

Called in with a good idea of colour and material of the sofa we required. Bev (sales assistant) was helpful, knowledgable and polite. Found the one we wanted. Now we only have to see if their delivery Service is as good and punctual? (Which is very pricey at £99).

shocking service, ordered my carpet which was all ok carpet was fitted on wednesday got a phone call from the fitter not even the shop to be told the wrong size carpet had been ordered and he would ring scs to ordered the new one. Got a call from the manager at elk mill to say the sales rep joanne would ring me the following day. joanne rang me at 10am with no information and didnt even know what she was ringing me for i asked her to read the notes and ring me back,still waiting on the call back i did chase at 4pm (thursday)and was told an email would be send to joanne to call me. Now friday 11.30 im still waiting for the call even after i sent an email. shocking service yet again had a problem 3 years ago with this company. will never use again

Sales staff are really great.....at conning you out of your money!! Avoid at all costs!! I bought a £5000 Laz-e boy reclining leather 3 seater and chair less than 9 months ago the leather is peeling off and the foam on the arms is flat and they both creak and groan when used, apparently this is due to wear and tear". I would expect this from a far cheaper sofa but a £5000 one should last a hell of a lot longer than that. If you need any more information on this coNpany do your research just look on ScS facebook complaints site and trustpilot. I wish I had done that before handing over my hard earned money."

Terrible service. Avoid this store.I would give zero stars if I could. Went in to store and placed an order there and then, the gent who sold us the carpet said it would be 10-14 days max.The following week the surveyor came to measure the carpet, his attitude was shocking and we found him very disrespectful!The carpet then finally arrived 6 weeks later and someone said these are European carpets and we should’ve bought British. I’m no carpet expert and no one told me this so how would I know. Anyway. The carpet that arrived was actually the wrong carpet!! We ordered brown and it was cream. I rang the store to tell them and they well it looks like it’s the correct carpet as that’s what’s on the order form.I have since cancelled my order as I refuse to wait another 6 weeks before they can send me a replacement (and I have zero confidence it would even be the right carpet anyway), nearly two weeks have passed and still no refund no call from a manager, it’s ridiculous. I was planning on buying more carpets and even a sofa from here but this has been the worst experience with buying something for a house I’ve ever had.Can someone from SCS sort this out asap please???
